This was the best! Restaurant I have ever been to. I was super impressed by the whole service. The guy that seated us was super friendly and he wasn’t even our waiter. Our waitress was super friendly, and then the owner herself greeted us and was friendly. We are not even important lookimg people, but they treated us like celebrities. (Perfect service) and now on the food. I don’t think Ive ever taken a photo of my meal for a good review, but this food was made with love. Even though the restaurant was about to close, they still put in effort and gave us a good meal. My husband had general tso and usually he has to ask people to make it extra spicy, this was super spicy to him, without asking. (He typically doesnt think people can even make food spicy enough for his preference). The orange chicken was also perfect to me. It was cooked well and had plenty of sauce. I took a photo to show that. I usually have to add sweet and sour sauce to my meals, anywhere I go. I was hesitant to eat in Bastrop because Kyoto gave my husband the runs, but this place is clean, they fully cook stuff, and their food is good. Must go!

Hands down one of the best Chinese I have had. The ingredients were fresh that the vegetables were still crispy. I got the sweet and sour chicken and it filled me up. The price is very reasonable and plenty of parking. Great atmosphere as well.

What a “Jewel” this place is. We have live here in Bastrop for 26 years. This is one of my favorite places. Chinese Dragon has a great lunch menu, well-priced & hardy in portion. They are genuine, friendly service, always greeted with a smile, seated us & taken very well care of us. They have a way to make you feel special. We love this place with quality food & a good price.

We are delighted to find this “Little Jewel” in Bastrop, Texas‼️ We are seniors & prefer to eat our main meal at lunchtime. Chinese Dragon has an INCREDIBLE lunch menu, well-priced & hardy in portion‼️ We were greeted with genuine friendliness & courtesy. The host, Melissa, greeted us with a smile, seated us & got our drink order right away. Crystal, our waitress, accommodated our “special requests” for sauces, extra napkins, etc without hesitation. Emma, the co-owner, came and talked with us after finding out that we were visiting her restaurant for the first time‼️WOW‼️ We were made to feel really special & said those words that every restaurant owner wants to hear, “WE WILL BE BACK”‼️‼️LOVE THIS PLACE & LOVE THE FOOD(quality & price)‼️

I was hesitant to try this place, as so many small town Chinese restaurants are barely above average. THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS!! The food was very fresh and Melissa, our server, was very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best Chinese meals I have had in a very long time. Worth stopping in for sure!! I’ll definitely be going back.

First and foremost food tasted great. Second of all the waitresses we had did an excellent job of keeping our drinks topped off. Most important of all to us, my wife is allergic to carrots and they made sure to keep her order clean and safe. We will definitely be back, it was a pleasure.
