Haven’t had issues with the food here but I’ve never ordered the Alfredo. Just picked up chicken Alfredo, it’s a pretty pathetic meal. I’m bringing it back and will adjust the review if they refund me or compensate me some other way. I wouldn’t order any of the Alfredo’s if they are all like this. I’m also betting it’s just a can of Alfredo and grilled chicken, no personal touch, I could make it myself. Certainly not enough food for a 6’1 male.

Although I’ve lived in Stafford County for over 30 years, I wasn’t aware of this jewel of a restaurant. Very nice view, attentive service, excellent food and friendly staff. I had the grilled salmon and my wife had a monster burger. Their happy hour menu, and prices are very generous We will be back!

A small venue with a small crew who consistently punch above their weight. The burgers and wraps are very tasty, and the Sunday brunch menu is one of the better options in this area in my opinion. The dining area is very open with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. The owners and staff are very friendly as well. A comfortable, cozy place to bring the family, a date, or just come by yourself to watch tv at the bar.

While searching for a new lunch spot in Stafford, we decided to head to The Clubhouse at Aquia Harbour, and it turned out to be a solid choice for a casual meal with good value and variety.

Location:
Getting into Aquia Harbour was a bit unclear at first. We used the guest entrance, mentioned we were heading to the clubhouse, and were let in without issue. The drive to the clubhouse is a bit of a trek, winding through the community with several turns, taking about 10–12 minutes. Once there, however, it’s a pleasant spot with a nice balcony offering views of the golf course and surrounding trees, especially if the weather’s nice.

Atmosphere:
The clubhouse has a simple, open layout with lots of natural light. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a golf course, casual and relaxed, perfect for lunch.

Service:
We arrived around noon on a Friday and were the only ones there, which was a little concerning at first, but we received excellent service. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking in frequently, though she didn’t seem overly enthusiastic. Still, no complaints—everything came out quickly and as ordered.

Food:
My wife had the Philly cheesesteak, I had the Joey’s Chicken Wrap, both served with onion rings (which all of which our server recommended). The Philly was packed with generous portions of beef and had good flavor, while the wrap was well-balanced with chicken, lettuce, cheese, and ranch. The onion rings were crispy with a perfect coating and paired nicely with ranch. Overall, we enjoyed both selections.

Overall:
While the drive to the clubhouse might not be ideal for everyone, it’s worth it for the quality, reasonable prices, and variety on offer. With plenty of non-chain options around, this place definitely stands out as a good alternative for a solid lunch. Whether you’re local or just passing through, it’s worth a visit.

Traversed the Chesapeake Bay and found this gem of a place with the friendliest staff and best crab cake and onion rings. Nothing compared to what was on or around the Bay. George and Teresa are exemplary at their job!
