Very busy but we ordered online. Worth the wait and LOVED the bento boxes. Matcha was def a plus
Might need some help with line filtering or keeping the peace, seemed chaotic but perhaps that’s just the weekend matcha rush

Wait time is crazy, prices are high, but the presentation is always great and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried from this place. I’ve found so far that the food has been a bit too cold, but it’s always beautifully presented and tastes great. The corn if you’re lucky enough to get it might be my favorite part. The strawberry matcha is a dessert in itself, and I recommend adding the mochi. Best sweet matcha anything I’ve gotten before

Wow this place is crowded and understaffed. The workers try their best but the place is just too small and too busy. I ordered online to not have to wait so long, but you still need to wait as the organization for ready orders are not so great. Yes, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the matcha pretty good but don’t think it’s worth another visit due to the hassle or wait. It’s definitely a to-go type of place since there is no indoor seating also, or if there is it’s hidden and full by people standing and waiting.

First time at Komeya. Even with a pre-order, the wait was long, but the Matcha drinks absolutely delivered — hot, iced, and cream-foam all on point.

The Salmon Truffle Soy and Duck Breast Bentos looked great but tasted pretty mid.

Would return, but only for the Matcha

The strawberry matcha latte: the strawberry puree was more vibrant and had a good consistency. the milk and matcha cream, together, almost tasted a hint of coconut in it. when mixed altogether, the overall consistency was really really good. kiss of matcha sometimes just overdoes their matcha, their puree was just… sweet with not much balance.

the duck karaage was very greasy. it was very hard to chew and rip apart. the sauce was… okay.

the duck bento was nothing special. the sides were boring. the seasoning on the duck was lackluster. not worth it for the price

Small place, super packed! So the long wait is to be expected! The presentation and taste of the bento was over the top! However, I did find a piece of hair at the bottom of my bento towards the end that sort of lost my appetite. I really really enjoyed everything in the bento but I was so devastated that I couldnt finish it

I have been wanting to try their bento and macha for a long time. they always have a line outside. this time i made it. the macha is thick. next time i will order without the strawberry paste. I ordered duck bento for food and it looks so cute. it is slightly spicy. next time i will come bk and try their bento salmon one – it is sold out already 🙁

This was the worst restaurant and cafe experience I’ve ever had. The problem isn’t with the large number of customers, it’s the lack of control. Employees are not at fault because they have no choice but to keep making. Everything is the owner’s fault in the business. This problem isn’t because it’s a holiday, either. They just keep taking orders, and they’re not thinking about customers at all. If you can’t afford to order drinks or bentos, you should stop accepting customers. When I arrived at the store at 11:45, there was already a line, and I placed an online order with a QR code that told me it was hard to even get in. I was told that the estimated time for Pick billion was 12:25. All the customers kept coming in because they weren’t getting any food and drinks. The staff was busy making them, and even called and delivered names. Two of the drinks came out at 12:50, but they didn’t even call their names and made them. The food came out an hour later at 13:50. Even though 40 customers came in from that small store, no one was organizing or guiding them. By the time I left two hours later, I was only receiving customers without clicking Ready or Done. There are about five open online and delivery ordering sites, and both delivery drivers and customers have had a messy experience. I just have to go if it’s not good, and I don’t leave any reviews. However, this place I visited today is so serious that I leave a message

The matcha is kinda too sweet for me , but the bento is good quality. Their salmon is good even though I ordered it to go, put it in the fridge overnight, and ate it the next morning, it was still good!

It was a beautiful Tuesday in the city. My partner and I had decided to stop by this spot to grab some bentos and matcha. Everything we got was outstanding. From the two matcha lattes that had great texture and strong matcha flavor. Btw the mango matcha latte is fabulous. The bentos are also fantastic. We got a Chicken Katsu Obento and a Salmon in Truffle Soy Obento. Both of these items were just fantastic and with so many little sides there was great complexity in the bites of food you could construct. Overall I really enjoyed this spot and it may be my go to for matcha in the city.
