Under new management maybe? Not sure what happened but this place has fallen. Two weeks ago, delivered my order to the school. Offered to remake it but that would be another 30 minutes. Today…I wait the time they tell me and then call, first she couldn’t find the order and then all their drivers are busy. Offered to make a fresh pizza and have it here in 15 minutes…still waiting.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve eaten here. I seem to remember being much more impressed with their pizza the first couple of times, compared to now. The breadsticks were awesome, as was the cheese and garlic butter sauces, the red sauce, not so much! The pizza just seemed bland, and I don’t remember the sausage being crumbled last time, I could be wrong on that aspect though. Not terribly bad overall, but don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon! The staff wasn’t overly friendly either, they were just kinda “blah”!!

We ordered a large pizza. When it was delivered it had grease sitting on top. It was not enjoyed by anyone at the gathering. This was not the normal hot box and for the price it was very upsetting.

We decided to try hotbox pizza for the first time last Friday for carryout. My husband and I both thought it was under done and not enough sauce. We realize that would be a personal preference and next time we would just ask for extra sauce and well done. Well, unfortunately we will not be ordering again. When there was 2 slices left I found a hair baked into the crust. At first I thought it could be one of mine and went to pick it off but it was stuck possibly being held down by cheese, so I know it’s not mine. So now I’m grossed out! I sent a complaint via the website right away. As of Tuesday no response from Hotbox. So, we will not be going back.
Update:
The manager called me 4 days after I submitted my complaint online and gave me a credit to try them again. To be honest, I was more upset about no response than the hair. So we tried them tonight and got thin crust and we were pleased. The crust was nice and crackery and it was baked to perfection.

Absolutely delicious! Easy phone ordering, pickup time was accurate, and the pizza was amazing! Will definitely return next time I’m visiting Greenwood!

Overpriced swill. Spent over $100 for 2 cold, dry “Pizzas”, 4 drink cups (Why this place doesn’t sell bottles of soda is beyond me) that leaked all over the inside of the bag. The cheese sticks were ok, but not worth the price. Barely topped the pizza with ingredients and the broccoli was burnt. The food tastes bland and is heavily processed. Crust tastes like the cardboard smell of the box. Must be why it’s called “HotBox”.

My favorite day of the week is Friday, when straight after work, I order a pie from this location. Not only is their POTW half price (such a lifesaver on a tight budget), but I have never had anything less than great food and great service. The food is always fresh and never once has my order been wrong or something forgotten. I order delivery and they are always on time and the nicest delivery drivers I have ever met. Shoutout to my usual delivery drivers Chase and Giovanni! Hotbox Pizza in Greenwood will always have my business as long as they continue the excellence.

They have really good sales including 50% off pie of the week. Flash sales $1 slices pepperoni or cheese, $1 bag of bread sticks. Large variety. My workplace orders lunch from HotBox, have not been disappointed in their food or service. Would recommend.

Winter pie is always very good. Accuracy is consistent and good. Pizza comes our fast and hot and the staff is reliable and friendly. Sitting inside is loud and usually you need to clean your own table first but it’s a pizza joint. Set expectations accordingly for dine-in.
