Tony was so nice! He walked me to my car because it was late. Everything is freshly made. There’s another review saying the rice is black ignore that noise some folks taste buds are bland! Of course real fried rice has soy sauce This is how fried rice is supposed to be not that steamed yellow rice out now with peas and carrots! This is OG Chinese food and they have the REAL EGG ROLLS not the spring rolls that are everywhere now. I have been looking for old school big egg rolls with the egg wrapper deep fried and this is it. It is a hole on the wall yes but the BEST Chinese I’ve had in YEARS. Do not expect $10 plates however it’s worth the money. Enough food for the next day for lunch for 4 of us.

Came here after closing and Mr Tony still took my order and made my food! I was craving Chinese food so bad after a long day at work and it made me so happy that he still made my food even after closing time. THE FOOD TASTE AMAZING! I got a pork fried rice and sesame chicken and it was so flavorful and so so so delicious. I will definitely be coming back! He also took it out to my car! Thank you so much Mr Tony!

Very very friendly person. I was surprised at the high pricing for the location. The fried rice tasted like soy sauce, not typical fried rice. The chow mein noodles were good. Chicken with broccoli was good but sauce again tasted more like soy sauce than typical brown Chinese Sauce. Portions were large was best part but most family didn’t eat much because they weren’t excited about taste. Sorry, I really wanted this place to be awesome.

When I walked in to buy some beer, I was a bit apprehensive when I was about to pay for my beer and the owner behind the counter said, “Would I like some Chinese food and to take a look at the menu.” At first I didn’t see a kitchen, I didn’t see anything that would say a restaurant. I thought he was out of his mind until he pointed out the menu at the register. It gave me the feeling of Crunchy Chicken in a gas station and you’re like, “am I really going to eat chicken from a gas station?” But then you find out that the fried Chicken was hella good! The same thing here. The Chinese food was out of sight! The egg rolls are about the size of babies, hella good! I ordered the chow mein egg rolls. I forget some other stuff but, no complaint here . Don’t pass this stop up!

Okay, of you pulled this up I hope it’s because you are trying to decide if you should go here. Let’s start with the obvious, this is a nondescript strip center convenience store. There isn’t much to indicate this is a restaurant. Service at the counter is prompt and friendly. This is to-go only. There are no seating options whatsoever. The menu is pretty simple with the Chinese classics we’ve come to expect. There are no combo meals or plates. Each item comes served as plate to share family style. Keep an eye out, there are no prices on the menus. An order of rice, an order of eggrolls, an order of broccoli beef and an order of sesame chicken were $75!!! Let’s cut to the chase. How was the food? The rice was a big plate of dark brown rice, no peas and carrots, which is how I prefer it, there was a little onion, but the flavor was all there and it was excellent! The eggrolls are extraordinary. The order is 4 and they are massive, batter dipped and fried until golden and crispy and they are easily some of the beat eggrolls I’ve ever had. The beef and broccoli was exactly what it should be. The beef was tender, the broccoli was not overcooked, the sauce was flavorful. It was very good. The sesame chicken was fried perfectly crisp and stood up to the flavorful sauce. It’s wasn’t overly spicy. It was some of the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had. So while the atmosphere wasn’t great and the prices were steep, the flavor and the quality was absolutely present in every dish I got here. This is definitely one of those hidden spots that only neighborhood people know about, but definitely worth checking out.

Delicious food, excellent portions, better price! My man Tony has been running this place for the past 29 years and the food definitely speaks for itself. I’ve been to expensive restaurants that were not nearly as good. Food takes a bit of time to be made so get ready to wait or call in well in advance. However good things do come to those who wait! Don’t be discouraged by the outside, this place is a hidden gem.

I go here for the Chinese food. Go to the register and tell him what you want and get a price. I recommend the dry fried chicken. Top notch food. As a liquor store, this place is terrible.

Incredible! Don’t hesitate. I was driving by and did a triple take when I saw a combo liquor store/restaurant. I love little hole in the wall type places. Walked up and the door was chained shut. If you encounter this give the door a little pull and the owner will come flying out of the back. Super friggin nice guy. He’s had the kitchen running in the back for 37 years and the food definitely shows it! I got chicken chow mien and it was incredible! Super fresh veggies and nice tender noodles with a great hearty spicy sauce. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back! This place is a sac town hidden gem

Went to this location to buy cigarettes for my sister. Also bought a lottery ticket. Owen was very friendly. Ended up trying the pork fried rice and pork choe mein. The portions were quite large and the food was great. I will definitely try other dishes in the future. Interior is shabby with not much inventory but they do have good food! Food is take out only.
