Tonight we were looking to celebrate a good week for our family of 8 (6 adults, 1 child, 1 teen) and wanted to try Robert’s out for the first time. We havebeen looking forward to trying it out for a while. It started out ok, but when our drinks came out we were missing some drinks. No big deal, but our waitress never came back. She was serving all of the tables around us, some of which came in after us. Eventually we flagged down a different waitress and she found the one assigned to us. We got the missing drinks and got our order placed. We thought we were in the clear. The food started to come out, there was a cup of soup that was supposed to come out right away, but didn’t, 3 orders of the fish and chips were missing the coleslaw. Again no big deal, we canceled the soup and asked for the coleslaw and they brought it out. The special for the day was a beef braised rib, which was delayed a bit because it was popular. No big deal. The problem was with the 4th fish and chips. It came out at a different time than the others and when we started eating it, we noticed that was soggy like it had tarter sauce, but hadn’t added any yet. Interogatting it further, the batter on the outside was not fully cooked and raw and the fish on the inside although warmish was not white and flakey, but an off gray color. The fish was still raw. Of course our waitress was nowhere to be seen, so I found the host at the front and informed him of the issue. They took the plate and did offer to make something else, but we at this point are concerned about food poisoning from raw fish so dis not take the offered replacement. They credited us for the food we didn’t eat nor received (soup), but still forced the 20% gratuity for a table of 8. I feel the credit for the raw food was the absolute bare minimum, but the whole experience was rather poor and for our first time dining it left a bad taste in our mouths. We are usually pretty understanding and try to give grace for circumstances, but I think this is our one and only time dining at Robert’s. A disappointing evening to what had been a celebratory week.

We were so excited to check this place out before the show and made a reservation. Service started out slow, but then picked up, and we were mostly happy with that. The food was decent at best. Our table got Mahi mahi tacos, walleye sandwich, fish and chips and the salmon teriyaki rice bowl. The fish was soggy, and should have been cooked more and the fries honestly resembled cardboard and were inedible. The drinks were tasty. I was surprised when we got our bill and it was $175 before tip. This restaurant is NOT worth the money in any way, and I feel extremely disappointed.

I took my nephew and his roommate to the Thanksgiving buffett today. The holiday decorations were very festive and pretty. The food was delicious, the drinks were reasonably priced, and I enjoyed the experience. The 21 year olds were full and happy when we left. I would go back for a similar offering in the future.

Made dinner reservations before The Outlaws show. Waiter did an excellent job of taking care of our large group of 12. Brisket ends appetizer was GREAT. Everyone ordered something different across the menu and it did not disappoint.

The queso is in no short supply over at Robert’s. Here’s what we got:
Chipotle Chicken Burrito with House smoked chipotle chicken, cheddar-jack cheese, jasmine rice, corn & black bean salsa, chipotle crème, flour tortilla, homemade queso, fresh pico de gallo, fiesta salad, and tortilla chips
Steak Bites with crimini mushrooms, jasmine rice, crispy onion straws, tomatoes, and a side of chipotle crème
Teriyaki Rice Bowl Grilled Chicken, stir-fried vegetables, sweet Asian plum sauce, jasmine rice, crispy wontons, and green onions
All from an establishment inside of the entertainment center off Highway 55 in Medina, MN road
The steak was surprisingly cooked to an excellent medium-rare (I find that many places overcook meats in appetizers). Totally tender and delicious, the fried onions gave a nice light crunch to this starter I didn’t feel the rice was needed, but some might like it to help absorb the awesome side of savory, smoky chipotle créme, which complimented the steak well
And then BOOM! A total BOMB of a burrito came next I promise there’s a burrito under all that cheese Holy buckets this was phenomenal! Rice-to-meat ratio met my expectations for sure, fresh Pico left a bit of a lighter note, and the corn salsa came through with more texture And the cheese… yes please This monster might only be for a mighty appetite, but there’s always the take-home option
My dining companion had mostly delightful remarks on the stir-fry style dish. Her one note: save it for those who seriously favor tomatoes
Overall, I was very impressed by Robert’s. There were plenty of unique menu items, presentation was on point, and several levels of flavor kept the whole meal interesting and novel. I’d head back in a heartbeat

Best to make a reservation. They get big groups and crowds. Even tho they get busy we had good service. Great apps!! Pretzel bread with cheese delicious!
Buttermilk shrimp dinner were great and large portions. Good mixed drinks too. Great experience overall.

I’m very dissapointed as robert s used to have 5 star food for years everytime and the food we recieved today was less than average at best .however service and the environment was great as always! I will prey they return to 5 star food as we love comeing to this spot…….side note we have been to this spot many many times in the past .
