Wonderful dining experience. We had Pan seared salmon 10/10, Thai curry coconut shrimp 10/10, and vegetable pasta. To make that gluten free, they put it over rice 9/10. Waitress was attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. Resturaunt was clean as well as bathroom. Thank you for amazing evening.

Great visit to Kimberly’s and enjoyed the live music from across the street while sitting outside. Our server Mark was excellent as were our meals. Try the Mussels appetizer. The Swordfish grom the specials menu was outstanding.

Excellent food and service. Best on the island. A year later. Still the best. starting with fresh baked bread with a buttery oil dip….

By preparing my own breakfasts and lunch for the week I was there, I felt okay about having a decent dinner. Kimberly’s website is not very helpful; just some screenshots of older menus…. but they’ll give you an idea of the type of cuisine they feature. Don’t try to make reservations online; just phone — that’s what I did, and I actually still prefer that to online reservations. The server was really nice to chat with about the various options on the menu. So I went with the lobster (Block Island) in a Thai-style coconut sauce, on basmati rice, and it was perfect; the accompanying vegetables were cooked but still crisp. Bartender made me an excellent Manhattan cocktail, though at $19, I would not do that again. Recognizing that food on Block Island is expensive, I would eat here again; the difference in service and food quality compared to some other places on B.I. where I’ve eaten, makes the premium price worth it.

We are so happy Kimberly’s back open! Everything we ordered was perfect. My kids claim that their fries are the best. Our door sitting area was so beautiful.

We ordered a selection of appetizers, and the food arrived so quickly. This was our first time trying seared tuna, and it was amazing, especially with the mango salsa! The porch seating was also lovely!

Service without a smile. As someone from NYC I’ve had my share of servers and hosts that could be bothered less with people. However, the hostess at this restaurant was just down right miserable when it came to interacting with me and my friends. But had smiles for days for every other group that walked in. When we came up to the hostess stand she told us that there were only indoor seating available. There were numerous outdoor tables open at the time when we got there but we just figured they were reserved. I was quickly proven wrong when the next group of people that came in just a minute after us were asked by the hostess if they would like outdoor or indoor seating. No ask if they had a reservation or anything. We continue to watch more groups of varying sizes come and get the choice of where they’d like the be seated. Never once asked if any of them had a reservation. When my friend went to ask the hostess about this after our meal, about why we were taken to the darkest corner of the restaurant instead of given the choice of outdoor seating, she was rude and kept cutting my friend off, not letting her talk, and just simply walking away stating “if you were a hostess then you should know how it is”. It was clear to my friend that she was caught in a lie about everyone having reservations once we brought up overhearing her with the other patrons and was stumbling through the conversation because of it. Food was good and came out quickly at least. Only reason service isn’t 1 star completely was that our server for the table was nice and efficient. Would have to be forced against my will to ever dine here again…

Amazing dinner! I need to know what they put in that olive oil for the bread! Hannah was a great server. Wasn’t rushed and very attentive. Will definitely go back again!

We dined here with a party of 9. We were seated outside, which unfortunately meant we could smell all the vehicles going by and hear the loud music from the restaurant across the street. The music was good but it was very loud. However, the outside is very pretty with fairy lights. Waiters were very friendly, and the meals came out very quickly. However, they did not clear any of the plates between courses. They also did not refill the waters frequently. Still, all the staff was very warm and friendly. Overall, the food was good. However, certain dishes were a miss. There was a large range, some people absolutely loved their dishes and some were very disappointed. I feel like it depends on what food you like and how you like it to be prepared.

I’d say this restaurant deserves 4.5 stars. The bread & oil were delicious, but there wasn’t a gluten free bread option. The mussels were 5*! The bouillabaisse and pan-seared salmon had delicious flavors, but were both slightly overcooked. Serving sizes are generous & the relaxed, unrushed atmosphere is fantastic. There weren’t any gluten free or homemade desserts, and the key lime pie was mediocre. The service was great. I would definitely go back.. with my own gf bread.
