This is truly a cute little hidden gem in the heart of Sugar Land. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant gives off a calm, Japanese inspired vibe that instantly helps you relax. The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, and cozy, perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
The chef is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the care and passion put into every dish. The food is beautifully made, well balanced, and consistently delicious. Each plate feels thoughtfully prepared, not just cooked.
This was our 4th visit, and it has officially become our favorite place to enjoy a meal. We keep coming back not only for the great food, but also for the soothing, calm ambiance that’s hard to find elsewhere. Tokyco Bao is one of our favorites! Spring rolls and steamed Shu Mai are our go to starters. Their sushi is wonderful and fresh as well. The Orange chicken has the perfect blend of sweetness and heat. And the General Tso’s brings the perfect spice. The atmosphere is perfect for either a date night or family dinner. Definite must try!

We started with the spring roll, and it was delicious. The sauce was very sweet and paired well with the rolls. We also had the crispy pork bao, chicken tempura roll and the Godzilla roll. They were all very delicious. The service was also quick and we were greeted at the door as we walked in. The place is perfect for a quiet date night.

The Teriyaki Steak bento box was great, which included soup, a 4 piece California sushi roll salad and rice. We also had their Beijing Zha Jiang Noodles and an order of scallion pancakes. The atmosphere gives the feeling of a small Tokyo sushi bar. Five stars for me.

Sushi was fresh. Lunch specials are good deals. Sushi tacos were tasty and cool. Beef and broccoli was ok. Like mall beef and broccoli. But, I feel they concentrate more on their sushi and other similar foods. My kids loved the steamed shumai. Would come back if in the area.
