This dish looks absolutely delicious. The golden fried chicken is generously coated in a glossy, savory sauce and topped with sesame seeds, giving it a mouth-watering shine and great texture. The chicken appears crispy on the outside yet tender inside, perfectly paired with fragrant yellow rice that looks fluffy and well-seasoned. Overall, it’s a comforting, well-balanced meal that looks flavorful, satisfying, and very appetizing—definitely something I’d be happy to order again.

I’m new in the area and based on other’s reviews decided to give this place a try. A picture I saw in the Google Maps listing made me think this was a sit down restaurant. While they do have seating, this place is just a carry out. Go to their website and you’ll see nice pictures of food attractively served on nice plates. What you get instead is food in To Go containers. I ordered the Hot and Sour soup, an old favorite, and Kung Pao chicken. The Hot and Sour soup when brought to me obviously had been nuked in a microwave and was so incredibly hot it was still burning my mouth by the time I was done eating. The soup itself lacked the black fungus that is supposed to be in it and instead had carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms. What the heck? The Kung Pao chicken was full of what I call “filler”: celery, zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, etc. KP chicken should just be chicken, peanuts, brown sauce, chili paste with garlic, and a couple of chili peppers. If there was chili paste with garlic in it I could not taste it. The peanuts which should have been stir fried along with everything else were just thrown on top, so they lacked any flavor from the sauce. The sauce was bland. There should have been a chili pepper or two but there were none. See the picture I’ve provided. This is the dish after I removed all the chicken and peanuts. The “filler” takes up 2/3s of the container! This is just wrong. I will not be back and cannot recommend this place.

I ordered from the restaurant at 1680 NC-5 in Aberdeen and the food was excellent. The fried chicken pieces were crispy, well-coated, and covered in a flavorful sweet-and-spicy sauce. The broccoli was fresh and cooked just right, not soggy. Portion size was generous and everything tasted hot and fresh.

Ordered take out. This is some of the BEST chinese take out i’ve had. The egg rolls and spring rolls were amazing and the chicken and broccoli with white rice was very good with lots of flavor. Gentleman greated us as soon as we walked in the door was very welcoming. I also like how we were able to order online and we can grab sauces on the counter ourselves.

Honestly one of my go-to Chinese takeout spots now. I’ve ordered from here a few times and the food has been consistently good every single time. Portions are solid, prices are fair, and everything tastes fresh. The General Tso’s chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the their lo mein never disappoints. They’re also pretty quick, even during busy hours, which I really appreciate. Staff is friendly when I pick up, and my order has always been correct. If you’re looking for reliable, tasty Chinese takeout, this place won’t disappoint.

This has been my go to place for Chinese food for many years. Since the original owners left there has been a decline in the taste of the food. I used to love the shrimp and lobster sauce especially when the owner made it but now it just has no flavor. Today I decided I’d get something basic. Pork fried rice and wonton soup. Hard to screw up. Well the rice was OK but the soup was terrible. The wontons were broken up and soggy. The liquid just tasted like water. Couldn’t eat it. So disappointed. Also the prices have gotten crazy expensive.

Had Christmas Eve dinner here for the last 8 years. May never go back! Egg rolls looked great but inside were mushy and quite unidentifiable. Inedible! Threw them away. Had to go back to return an order prepared incorrectly but had to argue to even get $5 off a correctly prepared meal. Chicken in General Tso’s chicken was tasteless but it was hard to tell as it was as tough as leather. Threw it away. Broccoli in all dishes nearly was raw so had to microwave it to eat it. Overall, waste of $100 and a ruined Christmas Eve.

Just got home with an order of sweet and sour chicken. Expectations were set in accordance to strip mall Chinese takeout, but those expectations weren’t met. I am assuming the oil they used to fry the chicken was old/ contaminated. It was crispy and looked good, but was acrid and burnt tasting. I dug through and tried 5 or so bites of different pieces. Ended up throwing it all away and wasting money. Not sure if I’d stop again.
