I ordered a brat with mustard and sauerkraut, paired with sweet potato tots, and it was exactly what I needed for a mid-to-late evening bite. The brat hit the spot—simple, satisfying, and done right. The sweet potato tots were surprisingly memorable: petite, crispy, light, and not overly greasy.
It was a simple occasion, but the menu definitely left me curious. There’s enough variety there that I’ll need to come back and explore more.
Sometimes you don’t need fine dining—you just need the right food at the right time. The Classic delivered.
Burger was cooked perfectly and had a nice grill taste. Wings were crispy and full of MEAT! My husband’s chicken sandwich was also quite delicious.
But… what stole the show is those fries!
I’ve never had that shape of French Fry before, like a curly fry made love to a potato wedge and I’m totally digging it
Every visit has come with friendly, quick-witted staff who are actually good at conversation (a rare treat). And just to clarify: The Classic is not responsible for your inability to understand downtown parking. Plan accordingly and adjust your attitude.
**Update: came back the next day for breakfast. Still a solid 15/10. Biscuits and gravy and breakfast burrito
We each got a burger. Also some wings for the table. Amazing idea, because these are the first ever “My Favorite Wings in the USA”
I will be back. And I will go to the grave telling every person I meet about how great the wings are.
Parking is not that easy, but go down any of the side streets and look for sports that are marked.
We walked into the restaurant and staff were immediately rude to us.
We also were given exactly 15 seconds to look at the menu before the server asked us what we wanted.
We ordered some burgers and tenders, but unfortunately the tenders are terrible. These are pre-frozen chicken tenders that taste like what you would get at a school cafeteria. They are also heavily salted at the restaurant.
I will give props to their crispy potato wedge fries. These were actually pretty good.
I had asked for a side of a specific sauce, and when I got my meal, it was not there. I then went inside to ask, and they told me that they don’t even have that sauce. This would’ve been good to know when they said they would get me at after I placed the order.
Seating is also bad. They have limited outdoor seating, however, they have very interesting people that can walk up and down the area and disrupt your meal.
In the end, this is not a place that I can recommend at all due to the extremely poor service and rude staff, terrible food, and overall a very off vibe.
