A couple weeks ago we waited over 3 hours for the pizza delivery and no one would answer the phone. Gave some grace as I thought it may have been a busy night. Today Preordered for 5:45 delivery, 6:45 tried to call and was on hold and never got through to anyone, 7:35 got notice my ordered was canceled. Clearly, this is a pattern. How are they still in business????

I ordered pizzas to have a special pizza night at home which is not something we typically do. I ordered well in advance putting my delivery time for about the time my family would be getting home. We got home, I check my order status and it said “making” so I tried calling the store several times and I never got an answer. Around 7pm my family decided to just go to another restaurant to eat (we have 2 toddlers, who don’t understand having to wait and I’m pregnant, so needless to say we were hangry)
We were able to go to another restaurant, eat our food, get home, and we still didn’t have our pizzas. They did not arrive until 7:40pm. All the delivery driver said was “sorry for the delay”
I will not be ordering from here again seeing as I’m not the only person with this problem and it wasn’t a one off problem.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM PAPA JOHN’S EVER EVER AGAIN! UNBEKNOWNST TO ME I WAS ORDERING DELIVERY THAT WAS BEING DELIVERED BY DOORDASH. UPON THE DOORDASH DELIVERY DRIVER SHOWING UP, I MISTAKENLY GIVING GAVE HER $400 INSTEAD OF A $100 BILL AND SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD BE SO GRACIOUS TO GO TO THE GAS STATION TO GET THE CHANGE AND COME BACK TO ME WITH IT. IT WAS AFTER THAT SHE LEFT THAT I REALIZED I GAVE HER FOR $100 BILLS INSTEAD OF ONE $100 BILL AND SO I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE STORE. I WAS MET WITH MUCH RESISTANCE FROM STORE STAFF, CLAIMING THERE WASN’T MUCH THAT THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT AND TO REACH OUT TO DOORDASH. TO WHICH I PUT IT BACK IN PAPA JOHN’S LAP. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE DRIVER SHOWED UP WITH THE REMAINING OF $40 CLAIMING TO BE THE CHANGE FROM MY $400 I GAVE HER. SHE BECAME EXTREMELY IRATE AND ABRASIVE STANDING IN MY DOORWAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DARK WITH MY SON SLEEPING IN THE OTHER ROOM! I THEN CALLED PAPA JOHN’S BACK AND WAS TOLD THAT THE GENTLEMAN WOULD SPEAK TO THE MANAGER THAT WOULD BE ON CALL THE NEXT DAY TO DETERMINE WHAT WOULD BE DONE. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HIM AND WAS TOLD THERE WASN’T MUCH THAT THEY COULD DO BUT HE WOULD REACH OUT TO HIS MANAGER AND HAVE HER GIVE ME A CALL. ALONG WITH THAT HE SAID THE MOST THEY COULD PROBABLY DO IS BAN HER FROM BAND THE DELIVERY DRIVER FROM EVER DELIVERING FOR THEM AGAIN. I REQUESTED THAT WHEN HE TELLS HER THAT THAT HE INFORMS HER I WILL BE FILING A POLICE REPORT FOR THE FULL $400 AND I NEEDED HER NAME TO DO SO. HE STATED THAT HE WAS NOT SURE IF YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE ME HER NAME. I INSISTED ON HEARING FROM A MANAGER WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO BECAUSE WITHOUT A NAME I AM UNABLE TO FILE A POLICE REPORT. THESE PEOPLE STOLE 400 OF THE ONLY $500 I HAVE TO MY NAME TO SUPPORT ME AND MY SON FOR THE NEXT MONTH! I STRONGLY URGE ANY AND EVERYBODY TO AVOID ORDERING FROM PAPA JOHN’S TO AVOID ANY ISSUE OF THE LIKE. THIS IS PUT ME IN MY SON IN A MAJOR PICKLE AND WE WILL HAVE TO GO WITHOUT FOOD, MEDICATIONS, NECESSITIES, ETC FOR THE NEXT MONTH ALL BECAUSE THIS DELIVERY DRIVER HAS ABSOLUTELY NO COUTH, NO MORALS AND NO VALUES AND ALONG WITH THAT NEITHER DOES PAPA JOHN’S! I AM ABSOLUTELY IRATE, DISGUSTED AND HORRIFIED THAT A REPUTABLE RESTAURANT SUCH AS THIS IS UNWILLING TO BACK UP WHAT THEY KNOW IS WRONG. HORRIBLE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The new location is even worse than what the old Moorhead location had become. Every order for us has been awful for various reasons. Last Friday we tried one last time for a pickup order. There were 12 people waiting in the lobby to pickup orders long past their ready times and not a single employee would come up front and help customers. One customer finally had enough of staring at their pizza ready on the rack for 20 minutes and asked for a manager. The employee responded with “We don’t have one.” Halloween is just around the corner…. If you want to experience a real haunted building, be sure to stop by this store and watch their zombies for employees shuffle around aimlessly in the back.

I ordered one small pizza at 12:30pm and had a 30 minute wait time, which is okay. The time I was given was 1:07pm, Only to then have my order directed to DoorDash, who then decided to take extra stops before bringing my pizza to me, making my delivery time 2pm- to then bring the pizza to the wrong address and when I tried to call the store (multiple times) nobody answered.

Look, I ordered a carry-out pizza from Papa John’s because I thought, “Hey, I don’t feel like cooking tonight.” That was three presidential terms ago. I have since learned a new language and earned my doctorate online!
The estimated wait time was “15-20 minutes,” which apparently translates to Papa John’s Time, a time zone where clocks are decorative and ovens operate on a geological scale.
I showed up at the store, gave them my name, and the guy behind the counter looked at me like I’d just asked him to solve quantum physics with a breadstick. After checking the back three times and consulting the Oracle of Garlic Sauce, he said, “It’ll be ready in just a few more minutes.”
Spoiler: It wasn’t.
I aged. I withered. I became one with the waiting bench. At one point, a fellow customer looked at me I could see in his eyes that he too was ready to except defeat and walk out with empty hands and an empty stomach.
By the time my order was ready, I no longer craved pizza – I craved justice.
Would I recommend this place? Only if you’re looking to time-travel through sheer boredom or are trying to test the limits of the human spirit. Otherwise, bring a tent and snacks. You’re gonna be here a while.

Service was very bad. Placed an order on the app said it was ready didn’t get my food till 20 minutes after that. Garbage all over the floor. Smelt like marijuana and cigarettes in the store. Won’t be going back to that location.
