Our friends took us here while we were visiting in town and it was the perfect place for a tasty bite and coffee in Lander! Such a great coffee shop and the baked goods could rival a cafe in Paris. The space is really nice and cozy, and the folks working there were friendly and kind. High quality ingredients and very good coffee beans. We got a sourdough loaf as well, great place to pickup fresh bread. Apparently they do pizza on Fridays and I can imagine it’s delicious, so we’ll have to plan our return visit to hit that up! Really enjoyed our experience, best coffee shop in Lander!

This place is absolutely amazing! We stumbled upon it while passing by Lander. The pastries were so delicious and crunchy – I’ve never had a most crunchy pain au chocolat than that one and the cinnamon bun so delicious like the orange zest in the middle just gives it all. We also tried the bread, which was really good and tasty. The general atmosphere is chill and nice, and you can smell the baking since they keep bringing new food.

Spent the summer in Lander and this place was the best place to spend the morning, sipping well-made cappuccinos and eating European grade pastries. Such a positive experience overall!

EXCELLENT coffee!!!

First off I like to order a plain latte to gauge how their roast, grind, and tamping is. It seems to me they understand 9 bar of pressure and optimal water temp. I’m guessing 199 Fahrenheit.

To top it off, they have exceptionally well baked sourdough available here too. Worth every penny and moment you spend here. Friendly staff and great ambience.

What delicious pastries!! Show up early before they run out. I’m from an east coast big city with dozens of cafes/pastry shops, and this place is head and shoulders above those. What a crispy, flaky, delicious croissant! All highly recommended. Kudos to the pastry chef.

Hole-in-the-wall cafe with some of the most absurdly delicious pastries that I’ve had in my life. An absolute must-visit in Lander. Fair warning, the inside of the cafe is pretty small, but it’s set up quite efficiently and is very clean with an excellent atmosphere. Drinks were great as well, and staff is super friendly!

I only order my latte plain, so there is no hiding the use of subpar beans or poor techniques. This cafe used beans that have a creamy and sweet taste all on their own. The barista who made the cup did not scald the milk, was able to get a good amount of foam without turning it into a cappuccino, and left a beautiful design on top.

As I waited for my latte, I discovered they make all their own croissants right there in house, so… I waited… and I was not disappointed!! Whitebark Cafe knows what they are doing! Not only the best latte in 1000 miles in any direction, but also fresh croissants as good as any that I had while touring France.
