I was looking for an African caterer for my wedding. I didn’t want Ghanaian/Nigerian cuisine as we tend to have a lot of those in the area. So I was ecstatic when I realized she’s from my home country because baby, anyone who has tried our cuisine knows they’re in for a treat.
She blew my guest minds away. Mind you, it was a mix crowd from different cultures and races. They all loved it.
She will set up a time for a taste test before your event so you can determine the spice level( i.e, hot, mild or none) and also you can taste the difference menu options she offers.
Her mannerisms is great, she’s sweet, no fluff, no BS, she cut straight to the chase. Personally I love people who are straight forward because as a bride the last thing I wanted to do is worry about caterer conflicts.
As long as you’re genuine and fair, you can sit back and relax and let Zainab’s Kitchen do her magic. She’s a small business owner and I hope one day she gets the recognition she deserves…

Zainab’s food is amazing! Best west african food around! It’s not a restaurant you can sit down and eat at (which seemed to have confused other reviewers looking for a sit-down type restaurant). You’ll need to call or message them on Whatsapp with your order ahead of time (and depending on your order, you’ll have to order a day ahead so they can make it for you) and go pick up when its ready. And it is well worth it!

The Besttttt African food indeed… place is clean, food is tasty. She provides what you ask for and make sure her customers are beyond satisfied. Her fish balls omg is one of my favorite. She delivers out of state which is a plus for me..Reasonable prices & the food is to die for yummy. I have basically bought everything she sells and everything was so tasty, I’ll definitely be ordering & highly recommend. Nothing like a good food. She makes spicy, mild or not spicy depends on what you like.

I ordered from Zainab’s taste twice. Once for event catering and another time for an order for a friend. Both times the food was amazing. Ordering process was seamless and given the current economy the prices are more than fair. If catering and event Zainab will work with you to curate a menu to go with your theme and the needs of your guests. In our case she created lovely takeaways snack packs. I highly encourage you to use Zainab for events of any size, corporate, personal, wedding, or any function. Or if you just want to try African food. You won’t regret it!

The absolute best in West African cuisine. Zainab cooks her food with passion and that translates into every bite. The best part is you don’t even have to be from West Africa to enjoy the food. People from all parts of the world enjoy her cooking. I will order over and over again. My personal favorite is the cassava leaves. Love her kitchen. Be sure to order ahead of time because she sells out QUICK!
