They changed the tip after I paid and left. They put down it as 122% gratuitie as far as I’m concerned I would be very very careful with your credit cards at the Paea treehouse lounge. They think they could rip us off and it’s gonna be OK I’m gonna have to take this to corporate and whatever it’s gonna take to get this resolved that little bit of money they ripped me off for is not gonna be worth the headache they’re gonna have from this. Check your credit card statements if they’ve done this to me I’m sure they’ve done it many many many times before for some reason they think they’re entitled the service was lousy. They couldn’t even manage getting me a beer without it being a big deal.

My man and I went out for Valentine’s Day lunch, and Ron, the security/host, gave my meal to another couple after we waited 45 minutes for our food. Ron then told us he had accidentally given our food to the couple beside us and the Birria dish was the last dish. The sad part is, the couple didn’t say anything, even though they knew they didn’t order the same plate we did. Not a fan will not be returning. SORRY! My drink was removed from our bill. Alexis was our waitress and I thought it was odd that she never checked in on us while dining after we placed our order with her she asked for a debit card or credit to place and our party was only two. We watched how other couples entered and order was placed and their waitress did not ask for a card on file (Racial Profiling) is what we felt. m the order due to the inconvenience.

We watched the Pacific Airshow 2025 from the Treehouse and will do it again in a heartbeat. Eventbrite showed up on my feed and for the cost of tickets totally worth it – especially to avoid the sandy crowds, which is right up our alley. The tickets included 2 drink tickets each and a $70 discounted valet service at the hotel. Food choices were limited before 3pm but incredibly delicious and decent prices for the quality. The service staff were lovely and we look forward to next year.

Don’t let the pretty view drag you in. Bad service. Expensive and mediocre drinks. And really mid food are all that awaits you here. Look at the ocean from somewhere else while you have better food and drinks. Sometimes you can the the people in the hotel doin it. So that might be worth it to you.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: super great find!! came for happy hour (M-Th, 4-6pm) and they are dog friendly!!! Great rooftop with a view!
AMBIANCE: Noise level is average. I love that they don’t blast the music (could def kill the vibe)! Plenty of seating and cute decor! I love that the venue overlooks the PCH and you have views of the beach! Seats near the front have fire pits.

DRESS CODE: Smart Casual
ORDERED: Happy Hour items are 50% off, $6 draft beers, $8 wine by the glass. it was a nice surprise that the HH items were large portion size!
– truffle-parmesan fries: great amount of parm, fries were a bit soggy (wish they were not), but still good!
– cauliflower ceviche: this sounded interesting and it was! wish the cauliflower was more firm.
– wild caught seabass ceviche: my favorite of all the dishes!!
– crispy jumbo chicken wings (gochujang): we opted to have the sauce on the side, but prob better if it was tossed (next time!). chicken wings weren’t as crispy.
– DRINKS: Pisco Punch was super delicious!! Buena Vista (non-alcoholic) and added tequila, a bit sweet but good!
SERVICE: Service was exceptional! Jamie was very friendly and attentive!
PRICE: ~$50pp for what we had ordered. We thought this was reasonable with what we ordered.
PARKING: a few parking options:
– validation via valet from Pasea Hotel
– street parking with meters
– validation through shops at Pacific City. We parked here since we weren’t sure where Treehouse was. Was there for 4hrs and with validation, we paid $8 (not bad!)

This place was awesome! I’m normally not the Huntington Beach kind of guy, but the vibe here was great, and the crowd was diverse/chill. Great music and drinks, very positive experience.

Ocean view from the comfort of the bar with VIP table options. It gets kinda crowded and can be difficult to get a drink since the bartenders are confined to a circular bar bombarded by orders. One out of my three drinks was good
