My photos don’t do it justice, but the food was absolutely amazing! Service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to explain dishes or recommend their favorites. Prices were fair for the quality and portion sizes, and everything felt made with care.

I had a chorizo, pork, shrimp, and potato dish! YUMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
Fish slabs still have the bones in them, beware of that, thankfully I asked before ordering.

The food here is sooo good! Everything is made to order, so I wouldn’t go starving. We always order empinadas as an appetizer..delicious

Gipson is a dedicated server, Marcos is the owner and chef, and the food is fresh and phenomenal.
I have had many dishes here over the years and they have all been amazing, from empanadas to steak, and from chicken to a variety of seafood.
Yes, the food may take a while if they are busy but it has always been worth the wait. Besides excellent food, these are big portions as if you have visited Marcos’ place for a home cooked meal.
The consistency and quality of the dishes amazes me and I hope you discover how fantastic La Morena is for lunch and dinner.

Steak Sandwich and Empanada were perfectly seasoned. Food was still warm even after delivery on a cold day. One of the best places to have any steak sandwich in the area. Hit them up!

The waiter Isaiah ( hopefully its spelled that way) was very nice and attentive. The calamari was good. The BBQ was great, had the had 1/2 chicken with ribs and rice and French fries. I also, got a side of the black beans and they were ok. Very good and fresh, I would totally recommend it. Check it out.

Extremely bad experience. Ordered the Combo BBQ and Seafood Paella totalling $70. The meat was tasteless with hardly any seasoning, lacking even basic salt and pepper and the paella was only boiled rice with unseasoned shrimp and clams thrown in. The restaurant should be ashamed to call this food any kind of barbecue, let alone a Portuguese one for which they are charging a premium. Clearly they are either not capable or not interested in serving even half decent food on a weekend evening. The empty seats should have been an indication to avoid.
