My friend and I ate here for dinner, and our server Erica was amazingly attentive to our special requests and extra vigilant to ensure we got exactly what we wanted! The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and extraordinarily delicious! 10/10 recommend!

Went for Valentine’s Day as we wanted to something different than the usual 5th Ave stuff. I was worried a bit on the lack of people in the restaurant when we arrived at 6pm. However from the host, waiter and staff, they were all impressive and professional. We brought our own special wine and it was a very reasonable $30 corkage. The food was incredible and cooked perfectly. We had the tuna tartare, salmon and risotto and a lobster ravioli. Then ended dinner with a unique fusion of key lime pie that was also a crème brûlée. Well worth a nice dinner in a place that not many go to. I would recommend you valet at the Naples Grande (free with dinner) and walk out by the pool to the restaurant and enjoy a sunset in a beautiful restaurant.

The Catch of the Pelican at the Naples Grande Beach Resort is a true gem. I recently had the pleasure of dining there on one of their busiest nights of the year, and the experience was exceptional.
What truly stood out was the personal touch from Chef Jose Garcia himself. Despite the hustle and bustle of the evening, Chef Garcia took the time to visit each table, engaging with guests and ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and cared for. This level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about the restaurant’s dedication to hospitality.
The highlight of my meal was the Dover Sole Meunière. It was prepared to perfection—delicate, tender, and full of rich, buttery flavor that truly showcased the chef’s expertise. Every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s attention to detail and commitment to quality.
If you’re in Naples and looking for a restaurant that combines outstanding food, exceptional service, and a warm, personal touch, The Catch of the Pelican should be at the top of your list. Bravo to Chef Garcia and the entire team for making our night truly memorable

Really beautiful restaurant on the premises of the Naple Grande Resort. I had a lovely dinner. Great food, excellent service and pretty views. I ate dinner one mid week evening and received such friendly service. Very professional staff, well versed on menu items. I ordered the bacon margaritas which arrived garnished with a cherry tomato, fresh basil leaf and mozzarella cheese. It was very old, but it all worked well together! The freshly baked bread with housemade butter and mango/papaya jam was delicious. Might have been the highlight of my meal in fact! I decided to go with an assortment of appetizers instead of one entree and enjoyed a crab sandwich. Nicely buttered and toasted bun and plenty of crab. I had the lobster bisque which was poured table side. Being from Maine, I wasn’t sure about the addition of coconut, but it was really delicious. Then I had scalloped potatoes with brie which was probably my second favorite dish. For dessert,I ordered the trio of creme brulee. As a chicken keeper and cookbook author, I’m pretty particular about my egg dishes and found the custard in all 3 flavors to be a bit looser than I would have liked, but the flavors were great and the burnt topping perfect. I got a Miami vice vibe from the decor which fit perfectly with the menu and swaying palm trees outside. I would definitely go back. It was a delicious meal. Very enjoyable.

I’m not sure words can fully describe how bad an experience I had at this restaurant. This establishment is part of a very nice resort and charges high prices. In return you would expect top notch service and food but nothing could be farther from the truth. We ordered several beef dishes (steak frites, burgers, prime rib) — all of the items were undercooked. Furthermore the brussels sprouts served as a side on one of the dishes can only be described as burnt. The other items were bland and mediocre.
The awful food was bad enough but it paled in comparison to the reaction of the manager. After we expressed concern about the burnt and undercooked dishes to our server, the manager appeared at our table. But if you think she was there to apologize and ask what she could do to make it better you would be wrong. Instead, she argued with us and was very unpleasant and confrontational. We were shocked. One of her points was that the burnt pile of mess pictured below were perfectly roasted brussels sprouts. ♀️ While she acknowledged my husband’s burger was undercooked, she scolded him for not speaking up early enough to meet her satisfaction!
I was so embarrassed. I was trying to take my parents in law out for a nice dinner and instead they got a terrible experience. My father in law’s statement after the meal was “McDonald’s would have been better.” Sadly, he was right.
This restaurant is part of the Naples Grande Beach resort which otherwise has amazing service. It is certainly not worthy of the resort.

Naples is our vacation spot. The place we go to relax. This was the best brunch on the trip. I’ve been here before but this experience was especially memorable thanks to our wonderful server Curtis. As he says: “have no fear, Curtis is here!” And he certainly was. Everything was great, the food was fantastic and the bottomless mimosas were just what we needed!

Had a wonderful dinner the other night. The food was great. Really enjoyed the Burrata appetizer. Our waiter David was very helpful and guided us to the perfect meal for each of us.
Their Old and Reliable (old fashion) is smoked at the table and is delicious.

Excellent service with our waiter Adrian and food prepared by Chef Michael. Top of the line environment. We are snowbirds who come here for an impressive and relaxing night out with friends or just a romantic evening out. It’s our secret place. Not even sure I should be writing this review. 😉

Second time eating here. Chef Mournir out did himself. The tableside plating of the Dover sole meuniere is superb and perfectly prepared. The Korean short rib bao is a great starter. The restaurant is lovely and a good choice if going to Artis Naples afterwards.
