I purchased a quarter sliced spiral ham with bone with three sides dishes for Thanksgiving it was absolutely delicious. No complaints just goodness!
I went back yesterday which was November 30 and purchased a quarter sliced spiral ham only. Apparently, the ham was left over from the Thanksgiving rush or even before that.
it wasn’t fresh and all the sweet goodness glaze on top was caramelized on top it was as hard as a rock.
Needless to say I was NOT happy with that ham at all. I de-boned the very little bit of ham that was edible and could be salvaged. The ham was not juicy or delicious just a nothing rubbery taste. It was without a doubt old and leftover from God knows when! The price that honey baked ham charges for their hams is extremely high, but when they’re good and fresh, they’re worth the price.
This was at the Olive Branch MS store!
More than likely, you’ve lost my Business due to the lack of consistency on the freshness of your hands, I’m sure I’m not the only Costumer that has experienced this, but I wanted you to be aware that this is the situation at the Olive Branch honey baked ham store! UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

Disappointed by the Service Right Before Closing

I normally wouldn’t leave a negative review over something like this, but I was genuinely disappointed by the experience. I walked into the restaurant about 10 minutes before closing, fully understanding that it was close to the end of the night—but still during business hours. I wasn’t planning to dine in or place a huge order, just wanted to grab a quick sandwich to-go.
As soon as I approached the counter to order a ham sandwich, the server immediately told me they weren’t making any more sandwiches because they were “about to close.” No alternative offered, just a flat-out refusal to serve something that’s on the regular menu and could easily have been made in a few minutes.
I get that staff are ready to wrap up after a long shift—but if you’re open until a certain time, then customers should be able to order until that time, especially something as simple as a sandwich.
I hope management sees this and encourages better customer service even in those last few minutes before closing. A little kindness and effort go a long way.

First time we ordered from here. We ordered online and scheduled a pick up time. When we arrived, the staff had absolutely no knowledge of our order. We handed them the confirmation we had printed out at home, and they were able to access the order. Only then did they begin preparing our food.

Brought the food home and it was made correctly, However, these sandwiches were very small and had very little meat. For a sandwich that was $10, we expected more than 2 slices of ham on a ham and cheese. All we tasted was the bread.

We preordered an order for turkey, ham, and macaroni and scheduled a pickup for the day before Thanksgiving. I knew it was going to be busy, obviously. What I didn’t know was going to happen was a line of people around the building. But I definitely understand that can happen the day before Thanksgiving and just got in line with everyone else. The manager(s) and employees were very patient and polite through the entire process. They went as quick as possible and did their best with the situation.

Food was good I got a Turkey bacon ranch sandwich meal it was really good n big ..you could eat half n be full n it comes with all the dressings ❤️ make sure to ask for extra ranch if your a ranch lover the lady over the phone was really sweet also we got 2 meals n my mother loved hers Also and saved the other half for later on she said 10/10 recommend jalapeño chips where good

I was here picking up a catering order which was supposed to be ready at 10 and because the manager Jackie was not properly prepared and didn’t come in on time . I confirmed that the order was supposed to be ready at 10 with the catering company . Manager was very unprofessional I would not refer anyone to shop at this location. Dissatisfied with my experience here.
Lastly after delivering the order to the company that placed the order they made me aware that the store blamed the late order on me. I was clearly there on time. ‍♀️. This company really needs to evaluate the people they put in management and start doing pop up visits to their restaurants to actually see what is really going on at their restaurants and how they’re being ran into the ground by lazy unprofessional employees.

I catered a lunch that was supposed arrive at 11am. The store confirmed the order. By 12pm, no food and it took until 1pm to get in touch with the store because they didn’t answer their phone for an hour. I was told the driver ran into heavy traffic but the food was JUST delivered…. nope no food. Lunch is now over and I have hungry and annoyed customers. I would have understood any reasonable reason for this screw-up- employee shortage, supply chain issues… anything but I was lied to saying the food was delivered. I embarrassingly explained to my hungry customers that I will make this up and I profusely apologized. I left the hungry customers at 1:10pm….. food should have been there at 11am. Miraculously, the food arrived at 2:30pm.

This is the place to cater if you want to be lied to, embarrassed and lose business.
