One of the best Thai places I’ve been to. The pineapple fried rice was hearty with fresh shrimp and chicken and cashews. Thai tea was perfect, and the rice paper spring rolls were fresh and crisp with a wonderful peanut sauce.

The food here was phenomenal — truly exceeded expectations. The only reason for four stars is that our server was handling the entire restaurant solo on a Friday night, which wasn’t fair to him. He was juggling takeout orders, bartending, and table service all at once. He remained incredibly personable throughout, but if I didn’t work in the industry myself, I might not have realized the situation and given the grace he absolutely deserved

Umami is an excellent dining experience. Place is clean and the staff are quick and friendly. The sushi is fresh and light. The won ton soup is to murder for……(sorry Midwestern, soups are that important) and pricing is fair.
Would be excellent for dates or business.

Wow, this place took me by surprise. Fresh food with just the right touch of new-ness on old favorites. And the sushi tower was incredible. This just might become our new favorite Thai place.

I needed to experience the Thai side as well as the Sushi side before submitting a fully educated review. OK, this restaurant is one of the finest I’ve been to in my lifetime. I’m a world traveler, so I can honestly say, I’ll be back often as my traveling will allow. The chefs are educated in their craft, and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Johnny and his crew are top notch, without a question! Cheers!

Randomly popped in for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. We ordered satay chicken, miso soup, ginger salad, the several rolls (dragon roll, spider roll, and x-men roll). It was all delicious. We will definitely be back!
Service was also great and the atmosphere was nice.

This place is a hidden gem! We’ve ordered take out and dined in and everything we got both times were awesome. They’ve got a huge menu, but have great attention to detail and quality with their sushi… shrimp tempura and Tennessee roll are great. The glass noodles and drunken noodles- highly recommend. The staff is also super on top of it, very kind and guest centered. All around a really great vibe.

The service and food are amazing!!! Authentic Thai and Asian cuisine! Sushi chef is flexible and allows for custom orders! Blue and Narissa are wonderful and attentive servers! They know their clients by name and favorites! Full service bar for those who like alcoholic beverages. The food is absolutely delicious and it is the best Thai food I have found in this area!!!

Nice food options. The food we got was decent, but not exceptional at all. The music was a bot loud. The light a bit bright. We were served fairly quickly, but also beat the crowd. Decent, but not sure I’d go back.

I love this place and their food is incredible, but I was really disappointed in my recent experience. I have a friend who loves Thai, but can’t have msg, so doesn’t get it often. I specifically called ahead of time and was told they didn’t use msg, so she was really excited. When we got there, the sushi chef was out for a family emergency, which isn’t anyone’s fault, but eliminated the back up plan. We asked again just to be safe and found out they DO use msg in almost everything. Drove all the way to Hermitage to have to turn around. I wish they’d had the correct info to start but at least we found out before she got sick.
