Brought my niece here for her 17th birthday and had an amazing time! The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the owners made us feel very welcome. The portions are not large but they give you a lot of variety to try, including both savory and sweet, so you are definitely not going to leave hungry!
The highlight of the visit was when they brought out our food they remembered that I said we were there for a birthday and placed a single birthday candle in one of the pastries for my niece to blow out. It was a very simple gesture, but one she really appreciated.
Thank you for the wonderful afternoon. We are already planning our next visit!

The Village Tea Room is a delightful addition to Hanover. My wife and I went here for a date this past Saturday – it was amazing. The owners are so kind and considerate. The tea was fantastic (even England would be jealous of their tea). Oh my gosh – the scones. Get yourself some – they are the greatest scones I’ve ever had in my life.
Treat yourself to a slower paced meal with friends, family, or yourself. Slow down, have meaningful conversations, and experience great food / drink at the Village Tea Room. You won’t regret it!

Very friendly service and accommodating. We had a little more people than what the reservation entailed for our baby sprinkle and they went above and beyond for us. Food was excellent an portions size was a lot larger than we anticipated. Delicious Gumbo and piping hot tea. Highly recommend.

Everything was delicious. I took my mom and daughter and friends here to get out on a rainy day. Everything was so fresh. Was extremely accommodating since I brought my 7 month old daughter and she had multiple high chair options and didn’t mind my huge stroller I had. We 100% will be back. No reservations were needed. We had a blast. Lots of laughs.

My wife’s girlfriend had to cancel on her tea time so I joined last minute. Wow, I see why the ladies enjoy these places so much. Tea was delicious and the food, yowzer. I bit into the scone and my mouth was overwhelmed with delight. One of the most delicious treats I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. Haha going to try and talk the guys into some tea times… wish me luck.

WOW, just WOW! My mom and I came here for a late Mother’s Day tea! It was perfect! Everything was fresh and just GOOD! There were non-caffeine option teas for my mom and plenty of other options too. HIGHLY recommend for any occasion. You will not be disappointed!
