I’ve now been here for dinner and lunch, as well as experienced their takeout. Across the board phenomenal. The quality of food has not wavered once. The portions are beyond what you’d expect. The pricing is fantastic. The customer service is also out of this world. The above and beyond with every guest, be it dine in or take out, is amazing. I recommend everyone try this place and I will definitely be returning.

This was my second visit to Koharu Restaurant, and it definitely lived up to my memories. On my first visit, we ordered several rolls, and the lobster roll was so outstanding that it stayed with me—so much so that I had to come back.
Today, we stopped by for lunch while out shopping. The adults ordered a Sashimi sushi maki set, while the kids enjoyed chicken karaage, tempura, and udon. Everything was absolutely delicious.
What really stood out, though, was how kind and welcoming the owner was—it truly made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is very clean and well kept, and it’s a place I’d happily return to again.
I’m so glad to have a restaurant like this in the neighborhood. Whenever I’m nearby shopping or out for a casual day trip, this will definitely be one of my go-to spots.

We’ve been to Koharu a few times now and ordered party trays a couple times. The owner and staff are incredible. They are so ivitinting and make you feel so comfortable. The food is amazing starting from the miso soup which warms you up on these cold days. The sushi, rolls and Maki are out of this world. The freshness of the fish and ingredients is what makes it. Can’t wait to get back to yes my favourite restaurant.

Wow. Wow. Wow. How to accurately describe my experience is going to be a challenge. This place and the team is wonderful! My friends and I celebrated Christmas together here and Koharu exceeded our expectations. It’s hard to knock all categories out of the park but this place did with so much ease and smiles.
The place is clean, comfortable, and inviting. We requested a high chair and it came with a bib and baby safe cutlery for our little one! So much consideration and thought just from the beginning but then they did more! The sweet server was so friendly and we were just chatting about our kids when she asked if our baby was eating solids yet. Not thinking much of it, we said yes and continued on in conversation. A few moments later, she came with sushi for our little one! What a thoughtful gesture!! I have added a photo. The attention to detail was the icing on the cake.
The food was amazing! Our group was a mixed bag of foodies and every single one of us was very happy with our meals. We all loved the miso soup! I specifically ordered the stir fried udon bulgogi dish and it was the best one I have ever had. The flavours were rich and I loved that the meal stayed warm throughout. I’m going to be craving it in the future, haha.
When we were doing our Christmas festivities after meal, we didn’t feel rushed to leave. It was just so nice to hang out, eat great food, and have fabulous company. The server always refilled our waters and teas with such a smile. It felt like home.
This will become our new go-to spot and I am so excited to be sharing this experience with more friends and family!!

Such a lovely spot! The owners are super friendly and welcoming, and the store is always clean and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious — everything tastes so fresh! Not only the sushi, but the hot kitchen dishes are also amazing. I wish it were closer to my place so I could visit more often!

Hidden gem alert!
My friend and I stumbled on this sushi spot by chance and it blew us away. The sashimi was unbelievably fresh, and the tempura was perfectly crispy without a hint of greasiness. A delightful experience! The staff are so warm and welcoming – it feels more like visiting a friend than walking into a restaurant. Between my partner and I, we ordered the chicken katsu, bulgogi, takoyaki, and an assortment of rolls. Everything was perfect: the bulgogi was incredibly flavourful, the katsu was crispy and tender, the rolls were made with the utmost care, and this is the only place I’ve had where the takoyaki lived up to my memories of visiting Japan. In fact, all of the food sent me back to my time in Japan, and until I can make the trip again, it’s comforting to have food that’s just as high quality nearby. They’ll absolutely be seeing us back!

First time visiting with the new management and it was amazing! The food was so fresh and delicious. We tried the Salmon Lover, Rainbow Roll, and Caterpillar Roll, and each roll at 10 pieces each. The avocado was creamy, the fish was super fresh, and everything was presented beautifully. Service was also wonderful, so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend!
