We came with a group of 8 and had a wonderful experience. Very friendly service and so fast! We got our drinks, sat down for a minute or two and our food was already being brought out to us!
Pulled pork was our favorite! Ribs and chicken were also very good. We all had fun designing our bags to be hung on the wall too. Would definitely recommend!

I’m working out of town with my family and we usually eat BBQ close by my hotel. I searched Google and saw this place with tons of great reviews. I spent over $70 for my family to eat, all with different meats and sides.
The pulled chicken taste like someone took a plain chicken breast, shredded and sprinkled it with season. The pulled pork sandwiches we’re soggy and tasted bland. The smoked hamburger seemed like it was a frozen patty thrown on a grill. The ribs were about 80% fat.
My whole family ate a little bit of their food and through it away. Not the BBQ we expected from all the reviews. I hate to leave reviews, good or bad but somehow I think all the positive reviews might be fake. I just think people need to be made aware. If you don’t believe this review, then go try and see for yourself but start with a small order first.

Omg!!! The pulled pork sandwich was heavenly! Stopped on our way back to Jackson and were not disappointed! Baked beans & potato salad are definitely the best sides, however, Mac & cheese French fries are not far behind! My kids said it was the best French fries that they’ve had in a long time. The pulled chicken sandwich was delicious as well. Reading all of the “fancy comment cards” was a great way to pass the time while waiting for our food. Already planning on stopping by on our way home from New Orleans.

Four stars for the food, it’s wonderful, but not the best I’ve ever had. Five stars for the service I received. I was in the area for work and the owner went out of his way to make me a bag of hot and spicy pork rinds. I enjoyed the pork rinds so much I tried to get more the next morning before I left and he still didn’t have any more. So he literally made time in his busy day to make a bag just for me.

The food was fantastic! We loved the pulled pork sandwiches it was so tender and delicious. It was rustic and the decor shows the nostalgia of days gone by that people our age vividly recall..even down to the indoor “out house”! It’s just fun to see it and enjoy the food served simply and in
Abundance for what you pay.
The only suggestion that I would make to the establishment is to allow thise who dine in to take a to go cup of drink. I’m a person who eats first and drinks after my meal…so since we paid enough for the maybe medium drink, gave a good tip..It would have been nice to have a ” to go ” cup of tea.
That said , I would highly recommend this little great place to eat. Haw! It was soooo good!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. I am a picky eater and a truck driver who travels the country eating alot of bbq but hands down this is the best place I’ve been. The pulled pork was tender and delicious. The baked beans was busting with flavor and the mac n cheese was hands down the best I have ever had. On top of the food the customer service was excellent. Nice people with delicious food. Don’t find many places like this anymore.
