If you’re looking for a lunch spot you can actually trust, this is it. The bone broth is organic and so flavorful, the coffee is always consistent, and the steak and rice bowl is absolutely amazing — tender, well-seasoned, and satisfying every time.

What sets this place apart is the consistency. In a world where you don’t always know where your food is coming from, this is a restaurant you can feel good bringing your family to. The quality speaks for itself. Highly recommend.

Do not come here. I would give 0 stars if possible.

The food is awful. I paid $40 for a salad that I had 2 bites of because of how poorly made it was. The chicken was dry, the steak was overcooked and bland and the dressing was gross and when I complained about it the dude said “yea people have been saying that” and still charged me full price for a meal I didn’t eat. He wouldn’t even get the manager.

The lemonade is gross, don’t order it.

The service was awful and the wait was long.

All of the reviews that are above 3 stars must be from friends and family because no one who has a working palate could possibly like this place

Follow up to owners reply:
1. the other people giving you 1 star reviews also ate at your restaurant.

2. When you provide terrible service and terrible food you get 1 star reviews.

3. The “grass fed steak” was a cheap cut and undercooked aswell as the chicken being very dry.

If I were you, instead of getting mad at a customer for giving you a well deserved bad review, I’d maybe apologize. The fact that I was even charged for something I didn’t eat because of how bad it tasted.

You clearly are not a good business owner nor are you a good person, but this response is exactly what i expected after the awful experience we had at your restaurant.

Also it’s very obvious to most people that the majority of your 5 star reviews are fake, especially the one you had written an hour after I posted an honest review.

You can hide behind “don’t hurt a small business” all you want, but it’s clear you aren’t mature enough to run a business nor do you serve good enough food.

Tho it’s good all of your future customers will see how you treat people when you mess up. I’m sure your rude and arrogant response and your fake 5 star reviews will drive more people to your restaurant.

I’ve also attached the receipt, to be clear so that everyone knows when they give you their disgusting salad, you have to pay $4 extra to get enough dressing to cover the whole thing. Additionally the food was so sour and disgusting I don’t even think it was safe to eat.

I don’t even care about my money back, I’d prefer you donate it but I doubt you’d even do that based off the character (or lack of) you’ve shown.

I recently treated myself to breakfast at Local Urban Kitchen and unfortunately had one of the worst dining experiences I can remember.
The moment you walk in, the restaurant has a strange, unpleasant odor almost like mold or very poor air circulation which immediately made the environment feel unclean.
Our waitress, an older woman with pigtail braids, was shockingly unfriendly from the moment we arrived. This was my first time visiting and there was absolutely no warmth, hospitality, or even basic politeness. She seemed irritated to be there and made the entire experience uncomfortable. I actually avoided asking questions because of how rude and unapproachable she was.
The food was just as bad. The omelets were burnt around the edges and had a strange bubbly texture. No salt or pepper totally unseasoned. The ham in my omelet tasted completely off almost spoiled and was genuinely inedible. The pancakes were incredibly dry and tasted like cardboard, and the “homemade” strawberry jelly was not good either.
The only decent thing on the plate were the potatoes. The coffee itself was good, but there were no flavor options listed anywhere on the menu, and given how unfriendly our server was, I didn’t even feel comfortable asking.
To make things even worse, when we were getting ready to leave, the waitress literally tossed the check onto our table without saying a single word. No “thank you,” no “have a nice day” just threw it down and walked away. It was unbelievably rude and completely unprofessional.
Between the poor service, questionable food quality, and unpleasant atmosphere, this was a really disappointing experience. I will absolutely never return.

I went to Local Urban Kitchen last weekend after I noticed it recently while in the shopping complex and don’t know why I haven’t been here sooner! The place was so cozy, yet bright and airy feeling with the decor. The staff were attentive and my waitress was so sweet. She had me laughing and was great at recommending different things I might want to try. I ended up with a breakfast combo with eggs, pancakes and sausage and the berry smoothie. Everything was SOO good, and I loved the berry smoothie. I am a sucker for a smoothie, so I definitely plan to stop by more often since they had a bunch of options to try, coffee too! If you need a brunch place, this one is it.

This is the best breakfast/luncheon restaurant in the area! The food is delicious and healthy! I have celiacs disease and never have a problem finding a good option here! It is our go to spot! Try the frenchfries—you can thank me later

We went here with a group of 5 on a Sunday morning. There was one long table that seats 6, so we sat there (no wait). I had a hot Chai which I really enjoyed because it wasn’t too sweet. I also had a platter that included 2 pancakes, homemade turkey sausage, eggs, and a fruit cup. It was all delicious, although I prefer my add-on ingredients to be mixed into the pancake batter. My daughter had the salmon Benedict which she thoroughly enjoyed for two meals. My cousin enjoyed her basic breakfast. The kids meals were plentiful and reasonably priced. The coconut latte was also good, according to my daughter. I would not have known that this restaurant is here, as it is hidden from the highway. Give it a try!

A lot of the restaurants in this part of New Jersey are very tasty, but not the healthiest. Local Urban Kitchen is notable for having a very large and extensive menu, so something for everyone no matter what kind of mood you’re in, but a focus on high quality, healthy fresh ingredients. Our meals were delicious and I can’t wait to come back and try something different next time.

I’ve traveled throughout the entire country visited 48 states and several different countries, Local Urban Kitchen Wall is the BEST restaurant I’ve been to so far, if I’d live any closer I sure as heck would be a daily visitor
They use quality ingredients, everything is organic including the spices and oils.
Their servers and staff are so polite, friendly, and genuine, we felt like they actually cared about us having a nice experience.
The food is absolutely delicious, they have vegan and non vegan options so me and my husband were both able to enjoy a meal that we liked and in accordance to our preferences.
I would recommend LUK to anyone and everyone who’s looking for yummy food and friendly caring faces.

Hidden gem! Located in an office complex oddly placed in a circle off Rt 34 in Wall. Live edge table tops, lots of living plants and tons of natural light fill the space. The food was all spot on and clearly reflects the skill of the kitchen. Hardly do you find a seared tuna sandwich that is simply seared! Most of our plates came with really crunchy house chips. The fries were seasoned and cooked well. No picture but the guacamole and chips was one of the best I have had outside of my home kitchen. Looking fwd to go back for breakfast. The home fries looked insanely good!

Went for breakfast with friends and the atmosphere was quite nice. That’s where it ends! The food had no taste, the service was sub-par, the coffee, when finally served, was so HOT it was not drinkable! The ketchup was definitely spoiled & smelled horrible. When we asked for the “manager” it was our server who, very rudely, said that there was nothing wrong with it! “We fill the bottle every day”and when I asked her if they clean the bottles she turned and walked away! What a waste of time and $100 for 4 people! $100 for breakfast!!!!! Skip this place!!
