Leamens is honestly a hidden gem in Geneseo. I don’t think enough people know how great the food is and at an incredible price.
We just moved back to my hometown of Geneseo recently and have hit Leamens for lunch around a dozen times. Have tried multiple sandwiches and literally everything has been 5 star!
The atmosphere is always chill and happy. The bartender is cool. She won’t hesitate to be a smartass which makes the experience more fun.
We will absolutely be back to enjoy another great lunch at Leamens!

We have a Friday night dinner group at Leamans. Everything on the menu is fantastic from their chicken strips to ribeye to grilled tenderloin. The burgers are the best in the area and the curly fries are my favorite. The ambience is always the best and beverages are priced just right. We prefer the Absolute and cranberry. We always have between 8 and 20 people and the service is great. Kendra is a scream. A must to try.

We’ve lived in town 16 years or so. Never been in here. Thought we’d try something there. Look like a nice enough place but the time we went in there only one bartender working. I guess he never seen us come in. So after sitting at a table for 15 minutes I walked up to ask about placing the food order. He was polite enough but I could see he was overwhelmed. He said he had one table and he’d be back after a little while longer. We just decided to get up and go down to the street. We figured it’d take too long to get our food so so much for trying new places

We’ve tried giving this place a few chances but each time we’ve gone the food order has been incorrect and the staff have been incredibly rude/impatient. With so many other great bar and grill options in Geneseo we choose take our business elsewhere from here on.

If you want to go where no body knows your name this is the place for you. This bar is dark and looks as though it has not been updated since it has been built. The seats are torn and the floors are sticky. There is usually at least one drunk that wants to talk your ear off and the bartenders are never friendly but always willing to bring you another drink. If you stay past 11 there is a good chance you will see some drunken dispute and lots of yelling. Some nights the juke box is so loud you can’t hear your self think. The drink prices are fair but the portions can be small. If you are looking for a classic dive bar this is the place for you!
