One of our favorite spots in town. Our toddler loves to come every week for a butter croissant. Pizza night is our favorite night of the month and we’re always sad if our schedule conflicts with being able to get it. We would also eat the breakfast biscuit sandwich with bacon everyday if we could. The absolute best biscuit. Corned beef hash also very good.

Best croissants in the Midwest, amazing, flaky, baked to perfection. The almond are my favorite but I’ve never been disappointed. Frre parking across the street and a small lobby area with tables just next to the store. Don’t miss it.

Stopped by during the Lemonade Hop and was very pleasantly surprised! We originally went to go see what they had for the event, but I ended up getting one of their pastries. The presentation for all the baked goods in the display was gorgeous, and the one I chose was super tasty! I hope to stop in again sometime soon :].

YYYYYY’ALL!!! Crust & Crumbles is the be-all and end-all of pastry in Rockford, and that’s all there is to it, but it’s not just the pastries! Their savory breakfast options are every bit as delicious, and their prices are NOT to be beat!!! GO THERE NAOW!!!! You will absolutely not regret it, and don’t sleep on their day-olds! They’re JUST as delicious, all the more fer bein a bit cheaper! ALSO, BUY. THEIR. BREAD. Take it home. Slice it up. Eat it. Be happy. Life is damn good when you have food this perfect available at such affordable prices.
Note that they have the best quiche in town, and note that the ingredients | flavors of said quiche rotate regularly, so there will always be sumthin new t’try! DON’T MISS OUT!!!
There is one high four top in the space itself, but fear not, for there is a communal eating space next door, and they WILL bring your food t’you if y’choose t’sit there. Be good humans though, yah? Please bus yer tables, and take yer dishes back int’the restaurant, and save the hardworking people there the steps. They deserve the help fer all the deliciousness they consistently make fer us all!

I visited Crust & Crumbles just as they were opening one early morning not long ago. The help was very welcoming and with all the selections available, I told them my husband’s favorite flavors(purchasing for him) and they readily gave me their recommendations, which I followed. He loved what I brought to him for his birthday. Far better than a bday cake at 70!

Huge fan of C&C as I love baked goods and the sandwich selection is stellar but this last pizza night was a tremendous hit for me. Korean BBQ pizza and Mediterranean pizza were just outstanding. If you haven’t gotten in on a C&C pizza night, you are missing out.

Crust & Crumbles is a little gem of a bakery in downtown Rockford. I enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant, and an almond one as well. They were delicious. My family loved the strawberry Nutella and mixed berry pastries, as well as the blackberry and vanilla bean cruffins. Service was friendly and helpful. Next time, I’ll plan to arrive earlier, curious to try breakfast items like the avocado toast.

This is my favorite bakery in the Rockford area, and I highly recommend their pastries! They are always experimenting with new seasonal pastry combinations. I always have a tough time choosing what to buy so I just get a box with a little bit of everything. I would eat here every day if I could!

Unfortunately got there right around closing time, so pickings were slim. Got the the red velvet cupcake and kitchen sink cookie. The red velvet cupcake was probably the best I ever had, right on the upper end of sweetness and richness if you prefer stuff not too sweet. Hard to get a great judge on atmosphere and service as it was essentially just me in there
