The Happy Book Stack is such a cozy spot with the friendliest staff—you’re always greeted with a smile. They have so many options for coffee and refreshers, there’s truly something for everyone. The food is just as amazing… the white chicken chili soup is so comforting, the turkey pepper jack is delicious, and they topped it all off with a warm cinnamon bun that was absolute perfection. Highly recommend stopping in—you’ll leave happy and full!

Our first trip to The Happy Book Stack was so enjoyable we made a special day trip with my daughter and mother-in-law. We each found a book (or 2 or 3 ) that we wanted. We tried the butter beer latte iced and the white chocolate mocha hot and they were both fantastic highly recommend! We had the ham and cheese sub (with extra pickles for my 3 year old ) also recommend. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere made you want to sit and read a book and drink coffee all day long will definitely be returning again soon!

The breakfast burrito wasn’t fresh—I believe it may have been frozen. The flour shell was hard and the inside was mush. One half was warm, while the other half wasn’t fully cooked. Not what I expected from a sit down restaurant. That said, I loved the atmosphere, and the ladies were very sweet.”

From the first step into the store to checkout, everything was well thought out and efficient. The process was simple and the store aesthetic is so special. Something about the books, brick walls and wood floors felt so cozy! The prices are fair and the strawberry smoothie was delicious!

This place is AMAZING!! We went 2 days in a row! I’ve tried the Southwest salad with chicken, an iced vanilla latte and my new favorite, the brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk. Prices on both food/drinks and books are great! Grabbed a whole stack of books and was amazed at the prices. The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of space to hang out and catch up with friends or work for a while! Worth a stop!!

I can’t rate the food or coffee as I did not try it. I went in to look at the books. I was happy to find some LARGE print books. I also got some very nice recipe books. The books are used and in good to very good condition. I found they are reasonably priced especially when you compare to brand new. There are a lot of hard bound books and not too many paperbacks. The variety was ample.
The atmosphere was inviting with the smell of coffee in the air and several table and chairs for dining.
They had a sign out front advertising several classes they offer. I only glanced briefly. I think this store is well put together and a great asset to McKenzie. I wish we had something like it closer to where I live.

I ordered a medium latte and it was about 5 bucks. Seems a little high but ok. What I liked was the book and game selection and I also liked the atmosphere. It’s not too crowded so feels spacious. The barista seemed pleasant and I got my drink pretty quick. Recommended.

Awesome place! The atmosphere is wonderful, the coffee is strong and I can’t even talk about the Red Pepper Gouda soup I’m here at least 3 times a week! You need to stop by!
