**WAS NOT EXPECTING EVERYTHING TO TASTE AH-MAZING**
We came here for mother’s day brunch. The hostess was quick to seat us. Our waitress was very attentive, polite and professional. The menu was very reasonably priced so we ordered several things. We got the steak and eggs, blueberry lemon french toast, crabcake benedict and cinnamon roll bread pudding. Steak was cooked perfectly to order, very tender and flavorful especially for medallions. The french toast was soooo good and the cream cheese filling set it off! My absolute favorite was the crabcake benedict. I’m not too crazy about runny eggs so I had them scramble it. Every single bite was DE-LICI-OUS! The crab cake was fresh, seasoned well, full of crab meat. The sausage and bacon was very good. The bacon tasted like it was smoked. The bread pudding tasted like a cinnamon bun from the mall. It was really good but I’m not too crazy about cinnamon buns. But overall everything was GREAT!

My husband, son and I dined on a Friday night in January. Kevin our bartender/waiter made the best Tequila Bloody Mary; the way that I make it at home is different but he put a wonderful spin on the ingredients. I ordered the medium rare flank steak (cooked to perfection) with pasta, absolutely delicious with just the right amount of pesto sauce. One of best meals I’ve had in a long time; the ambiance is perfect.

Great to eat on the patio with great views of the golf course. Live music inside was too loud for us. No need to be that loud in a small space. Service was very good. Food was just mediocre. Nothing special. Menu is limited. Under the previous owner, this was one of the better restaurants around, but now it is just average. Great place to eat outside but don’t go for the food.

The food took over an hour to receive, even though all we had ordered was a cheesesteak and ten wings. People that had arrived after we had ordered were getting their food and leaving before we even got ours. There were at least 6 tables that were dirty the whole night and there was seemingly only one waitress employed. The food was ok, but it should not have taken an hour to get some chopped up beef that was microwaved on a bun with squares of cheese.

So under previous ownership we were regulars at the Back Creek restaurant for many many years. We especially loved their Burger Night where they offered at least 6 different burgers that were all half price and all absolutely delicious! Bottled beers were $2 for domestics and $3 for imports and IPAs! We were not the only ones who loved the burger night, because the restaurant was ALWAYS PACKED on Burger Nite!
Had to give the new seven tap tavern a try as we have always enjoyed a visit to Back Creek and live around the corner. My wife had the crab cake sandwich and was not overly thrilled. She said it had very little flavor and the bun exploded in her hand. Her friend had the chicken sandwich and she said it “was alright”. It also took about 40 minutes for the meals to come out, too long in my opinion.
I have seen the Burger Night is advertised on Monday nights 5-8pm. Not sure how much it is (and if only one choice?), and if they offer any discounted beer at this time? And of course a nice happy hour would be appreciated. Shout out to Kev who is an awesome bartender, we are always happy to see him behind the bar.
We love live music and glad to see they have music on Friday and Saturday from 6-9. That is awesome and we look forward to a visit.
Realize the restaurant has just “reopened” and issues are being worked, so we’ll give it a another try down the road.

Where do I start?? I came in as a 2 person party, ended up with one more. My server, Erin was more than welcome to accommodate my plus one. She was attentive and willing to listen to our concerns and questions about the menu. Our food came out fast and drinks came out delicious. Erin was our favorite part of our dining experience here. She was funny, kind and very professional at the same time, so professional. We had a delicious meal with funny banter and a delightful atmosphere provided by the one, and only, Erin.

To start on the positive, nice atmosphere and lively company, trivia nights and more events that may be of interest. However when arriving with a party of 3, we collectively ordered two appetizers, a sandwhich and entree. It took 40 minutes for one appetizer to arrive, and over an hour later we’d been updated the rest of the food was still cooking. Our gracious server was understanding and very kind however she seemed to be handling all the tables herself during a very busy trivia night. I am unsure if the wait time was from management or the kitchen being backed up but it came off as very unorganized and hectic. I will not be returning but hope to hear of more help for the servers or kitchen staff.

Erin!!!!! Was so amazing today. Me and a couple of high school friends came over after brunch at 1861 to have a few cocktails to celebrate a one of the friends birthday. Erin was just amazing from start to finish. She was kind, knowledgeable and professional. We loved her vibe and smiles. She was accommodating and knew her stuff. I’ll simply return just for Erin again! It wasn’t very crowded at first but as we were leaving it began to get a little more people. Thank you ERIN for your amazing service and kindness. 10/10….5 ⭐️
