We recently visited Limeña Peruvian Eatery and really enjoyed our meal. We had the Lomo Saltado and Pollo a la Brasa, both of which were delicious, full of authentic flavor, and generously portioned. We were served by Gabriel, who was very friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience.

We were celebrating our Peruvian AuPair’s birthday — she’s also Peruvian like Gabriel — and she mentioned that Limeña is her favorite Peruvian spot in the entire TO area. The food definitely lived up to her praise.

The only reason for taking off one star is that, despite mentioning the birthday, no small gesture like a dessert was offered to make the moment feel a bit special for her. It would have been a nice touch.

Overall, though, great food, warm service, and a place we’d happily return to.

What a lovely little eatery. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by an extremely friendly proprietor, the kind of guy to remember your name.

Everything on the menu sounds delicious, I’ve only been once but I will have to go back to try more dishes!

The place is small, maybe 6 tables of 4, and everything is definitely cooked fresh. It’s not a quick experience necessarily, but it’s absolutely worth settling in, enjoying your time with a group, and digging into some delicious Peruvian food.

This was my third time visiting this restaurant, but the first time I brought my boyfriend—and he loved it! Gabriel was super friendly and took the time to explain several dishes and offer great suggestions, like adding a side and a drink for just $3, which I thought was an amazing deal.

I had the Lomo Saltado, and the portion was generous and satisfying. My boyfriend had the Limeña Sandwich with yucca and a soda, and he was really impressed. The sandwich was huge and packed with flavor!

I definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic Peruvian food.

We found this great place hidden amongst Thousand Oaks. This place you could smell how amazing it was on the outside. We sat down and met the owner who walked us thru all the types of dishes and even taught us a few phrases and translations. He also recommend we try the purple corn drink, which was delicious. For meals we ordered the lamb and the beef, and they both came with rice and sauce. Both dishes were mouth wateringly delicious and freshly cooked. The service was great, they checked on us periodically. The prices were also great, ever affordable for the amount of food. Check this place out if you ever wanted to try some Peruvian food! It’s worth it!

We have been several times now and each time is fantastic. The owner is great. He goes over all the specials with you and makes great recommendations based off your likes and dislikes. He has never steered us wrong and I’ve never had the same thing twice. I go in wanting to, but then I see something else I want to try and end up having that. You really can’t go wrong supporting this small, locally owned, very authentic Peruvian restaurant.

They no longer accept their gift cards however I stopped in briefly when I was in T.O. because I had had their kebabs meal in the past , and it was absolutely delicious. and had the salad which was basically tomatoes and cucumbers. One suggestion as feedback is that instead of olive oil and lemon combination dressing it was basically 100% lemon and it was very difficult to eat with that big of a head of pure lemon. For a small portion of chopped tomatoes and cucumbers, I would say the price was too extremely high since it was a small boat of a salad.
