We ate outside and the ambiance was very nice! We shared the Ploughman’s Board and it was amazing. Each item in this appetizer was wonderful. We did have to ask for the deviled egg spread (which it said came with the board) because we received two whole deviled eggs instead. The spread was delicious and they should definitely keep it! Also, the gnocchi was wonderful; it was very fluffy, potatoey, and very comforting. Overall, a great choice for dining in Black Mountain.

What a treat! Just had a fabulous dinner on the porch at Miltons.Thursday night special was Beer and Burger. I had the sorghum honey chicken plate with mashed potato and green beans. Both were wonderful! The corn bread is excellent too.
Service was excellent.
Seating is limited. Reservations are possible. Take out available too.

Tonight (Nov. 20) my wife and I had the pleasure of eating at Milton’s to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. From the food, to the service, to the cocktails, everything was amazing!
Since the holidays are right around the corner the ambiance was on point with Christmas decorations and a fire. These small touches made for an enjoyable dinner atmosphere.
Hunter and Kristen were both extremely kind and delivered exceptional service. Can’t say enough great things! If you visit, you will definitely be treated well.
As for the food, my wife had the shrimp and grits while I had the hanger steak. Both were really great! We also tried the chicken sliders for an appetizer which I would highly recommend. To complement the meal, we got some of their seasonal cocktails, the G&T and Moscow Mule.
Highly recommend Milton’s for any special occasion or for an awesome night out! We will definitely be back!

Came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend for my birthday. Our server was fairly new to the restaurant, but was incredibly attentive, sweet, and dedicated to giving us good service. You could even tell she was new until she mentioned starting a few weeks prior!
The food was well plated and portioned. Pictured below is the fried chicken entree which I had zero complaints over.
The cocktails were fantastic and came out quickly. The server worked with our specific requests with ease.
We will definitely be recommending this place to anyone visiting Asheville.

OMG. If I were dying I would insist my last meal be from here. The food was so good I had to restrain myself from licking the plate at the end of the meal. “Delicious” isn’t enough. If you’re trying to find good food in Black Mountain LOOK NO FURTHER. 157/10. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Extremely disappointed. We made reservations a week in advanced and got a voicemail a few hours before our meal letting us know the only food they would be serving is burgers and apps. It was cold, rainy, and way too late to make reservations elsewhere. Cocktails and service were good but I don’t eat burgers (real or fake meat) and finding out how limited the menu would be at the last minute was disappointing. Burgers as your only entree? At a “smart casual” restaurant? I understand being short staffed but the single food options available were poor. I had alcohol for dinner.
