Seems that the portions have gotten smaller! Ordered large, but not happy with the amount provided. Also they should have kept the 10% discount for cash payments. This was the last time we will order takeout as the portions are just too small for the price. Unfortunate because the food is pretty good for local takeout.

Wound up at Dragon when we walked out of Duck Sauce after being seated and left there 15 minutes without anyone coming over for service. And Duck Sauce was not busy, only 2 other tables sat
Glad we wound up at Dragon.

We have been going to Dragon of Newtown for over 15 years and it has been consistently great. The food is always freshly prepared and usually ready in 15 -20 min. Solid go-to when you don’t have time to cook after work or want to stay in on a weekend.

Sorry for the one star but I expected much better from this Restaurant. The food I ordered was not good at all, I ordered 5 fried chicken wings expecting 5 complete fried wings like I always got from a Chinese restaurant, instead I received 5 pieces of over cooked cold batter fried chicken wing parts. The House Special Wonton Soup was terrible it had soggy over cooked wonton noodles in it, the fried dumplings tasted like someone put too much salt in it.

The food was good but not great. Needs improvement specifically items quoted hot. Quality and quantity was not ideal for the price. Also was error in price for 1 item. Needless to say a service charge is ridiculous if your pay by credit card. I recommend that you check your receipts before you leave.

I haven’t had Dragon of Newtown in years since they moved locations and now it makes me think it’s worth the drive from Morrisville. Everything we ordered for a family birthday dinner was delicious. The steamed dumplings were great and General tso chicken in particular was tender and had great taste (definitely has a kick). A great way to feed a larger family gathering even when dining at home!

Delicious. Had vegetable spring rolls, garlic broccoli with fried tofu, and seseme chicken. Over all very satisfied with the food and the service was excellent! The garlic sauces were flavourful and not overly sweet. The portions were reasonable for the price. My only wishes would be that the spring roll would be larger or have more veggies and my personal preference would be for either ambient or culturally analogous music rather than contemporary pop hits.

Very overpriced $18.99 for standard dishes like cashew chicken and beef with broccoli. Small portions and not very tasty. Not much beef as seen in this picture. Definitely disappointing.

I do not get how this place is not rated higher. This is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. It was my first time eating there, and the sweet and sour chicken was the most flavorful I’ve had (I’m under the weather and needed a “safe” food). The pot stickers are out of this world. For what it’s worth, this place is very highly rated on delivery services, so there is a big disconnect between google ratings and other sources. I recommend!
