The Hockessin/Pike Creek, DE area has never had an Indian restaurant. This, despite the ever-increasing Indian population in the area, in addition to the popularity of Indian fare among the American population. Kabab and Curry was a vision four years in the making. We offer authentic Northern Indian food in a warm, inviting, and colorful ambience. Northern Indian cuisine includes the dishes commonly cooked in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh. The food was absolutely delicious, and the spices seemed especially fresh and fragrant. All of the dishes were well-balanced and had a very satisfying degree of flavor complexity. Their alcohol menu also offers some spiced cocktails that were very unique and tasty. I have visited here twice, and both visits were exceptional from the perspective of me and my few friends. I would be astonished if this is not the best Indian restaurant within dozens of miles, because it is truly outstanding!

K&C consistently puts out some of the best food I’ve had in the general area. While there are other options out there, no one else will give you the perfect amount of heat and spice on your food.
I’ve got a whole lot to compliment, and a whole lot less to complain about – lamb was a smidge dry – but that’s why you are given sauce. Easy to overlook for food otherwise so good!

This restaraunt is my favorite! Food is fresh and made with quality ingredients, and the staff is very attentive. The Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan is amazing and my go to comfort food – highly recommend! Mixed drinks are very good! This is a relatively new restaurant and you can tell the owners are invested in their dishes and providing an enjoyable dining experience. They invite feedback and take pride in their menu. Everyone I take here loves it.

Got take-out. Food was pretty good. Tandoori chicken was good. Chicken Makhani was good, but not much chicken in it. Mutter paneer was good, but not much paneer in it. Gobi manchurian (cauliflower) was really good. Garlic naan was very limp and kind of greasy. The portions are not big for what you pay ($17-20 per dish). Which brings me to my biggest gripe. I looked at their menu with prices on their own website to order. Oddly, when I picked up my order, it was $4 more than what their own menu said it would be. It was because 4 of the dishes were $1 more expensive than listed on their menu. $4 out of > $100 is not a lot of money, but it’s the principle of the thing. If you have a menu online on your own website with prices, then it should be accurate. They already charge premium prices for what you get. You shouldn’t be surprised with having to pay additionally when you go to pick it up. All that does is leave a bad taste in one’s mouth.

The food is okay. But I expected a bit more from this place. The samosas were good. Spring rolls and chai were a disappointment. Noodles were okay as well. Was expecting a lot more from this place. The ambience is okayish, a small place relatively. This is the first restaurant were I saw a service charge being levied on its own (15% for 2 people)

For the second time they messed up my order for take out. Both times I ordered 2 of the same dishes and they only gave one. Both times I reinforced it is 2 orders of the same dish. Both times cashier said “they are new” and laughed it off. One person is not going to have an entree with three garlic naans. Please train your staff!
