Ok I’ve tried every slice at Mr. Moto and so far the “Mama Moto” is my favorite. If you like truffle oil you will enjoy this slice. The crust has a great crunch and you don’t feel weighed down after eating. The Rocky Mountain is second runner up with great meatballs on top. Yum!

Crazy quality for the price. I got two large slices and a massive craft/tap beer for $20. Delicious thin crispy artisan pizza. A much needed pizza by the slice option in Newport/Mesa. Try the Mamma Moto.

If you’re not looking for quality in service nor atmosphere and you just want food that’s edible then this is a great choice.
The current promo of $5 for 2 old slices of pizza and a soda is a great deal!
But if you need gluten free, it only comes in 1 size which is 14” and costs $26 for just cheese so after adding black olives & pepperoni we paid $30 for a personal gluten free pizza that took over 30 minutes to make for some reason.
The cashier and the cooks were young and very rude. When I asked what the gluten free crust was made of, they gave me attitude and said “I don’t know it just comes that way”.
I really wish the owner would train their staff accordingly and hire people that actually care about being kind and welcoming to customers.
I, personally, won’t be going here again.

Very excited for Mr. Moto to finally open in Costa Mesa. Pizza slices and garlic knots were delicious. We tried special treat for the opening. Service a bit slow but I am going to put it on the opening night when not all the gears are running smoothly. Definitely will be back!
