Eris Evolution is a mainstay for so many different people.
They host an eclectic variety of events from Comedy Nights to Goth Nights, Hipsters Nights and everything in-between.
The owners Jon and venue creative Director Paulina 100% know what they are doing.
They Always make sure each event is supported when needed.
The venue is 2 floors and tastefully decorated.
Manager Kevin is certainly hands on and does whatever is needed to be done to make the Nights run smoothly.
Matthew another long-time employee is capable of handling anything and everything that needs to be done.
Eris Evolution has the Coolest Bartenders and their Security is chill till the time arises that they need to handle their business.
I Absolutely Love this place and relish my time there for each and every event I attend.

Super cool local venue. Kinda DIY, accessible for local events, spacious, reasonable drink prices, and decent sound system for the space. My friend put on an event and we had a great time.
Only negative thing was we tried 3 different debit cards and none of them worked, so I had to use my emergency credit card. Went to the deli down the block right after we left and 2 of the cards that declined worked fine.

This review is about the weekend nightlife that takes place at Eris… which for the most part becomes a nightclub and alt/new wave/goth music dance club on Friday and Saturday nights. I’m from New Jersey Eris is located in Brooklyn. I heard about it from Facebook and since I like..actually love 80s alternative music New Wave, Punk, grunge, power pop some goth and industrial too thrown in. Usually I go to an alt rock club once a month called QXTs in Newark (which I love) and since older establishments in New York have closed, such as the Pyramid Club, I decided to take a gal pal (ex girlfriend who loves to dance ) and spend the time and hefty gas/tolls to give the place a shot…well…I was not disappointed! In fact I really liked the place including the patrons and employees I came into contact with were very nice. Like Qxts, they too had 3 separate dance rooms so that there is or should be something across the alternative music genres that you will find appealing to enjoy and/or dance to. The DJ from the Pyramid club that was there even took one of my request …and immediately played it (thanks!) ..If they were playing something one room that I didn’t feel like dancing too or like I just went into another room to find my groove. Admission was $12 which I thought was reasonable and the people at the front were friendly which makes for a great start… mixed drinks were slightly pricey at $11 each but we’re not weak so I didn’t/won’t complain too much LOL. Unfortunately only one bar on the main floor was pretty well-stocked other rooms downstairs had limited options or choices which they should expand on. I had such a good time got there at 10 and ended up leaving at almost 4 in the morning so 6 hours of continues alt rock/new wave dancing made us happy campers…. will we return to Eris? Hell yeah! ..only wish it was closer! Also they need to pump up the air conditioning a bit more…but came there to dance and sweet. If you like classic New Wave (New Order, Smiths, Pychedelic Furs, etc) goth (Bahaus, etc), classic cheesy 80s (Madonna, Prince, Simple Minds) or other alternative music I would say this is a club you should try….If I’m there you can buy me drink to thank me..lol

Absolutely awful experience. This place is a disaster hiding behind a bar sign. The owners are not only incredibly rude, but also made it painfully clear they have no respect for queer patrons—there were some shockingly homophobic undertones in their behavior. Drinks? Total joke—watered down to the point of insult. And to top it off, one of the staff let slip that the venue is struggling financially, so the owners are squeezing artists dry with shady booking fees. It’s giving desperation, not hospitality. Save your money, your time, and your dignity—there are plenty of better, safer places to go. Avoid at all costs.

Great and chill spot. Perfect location for good music, great drinks, and dope Dj’s. A little hard to find it. Just follow the blue lights!

Came for the Improv Festival, “Fun and Dumb”.
Overall, it’s a nice venue space. The seating leaves a little bit to be desired, especially as things fill up. The bar is super cheap and easily accessible, so nice for such an event. And the parking nearby is so so easy, so overall a nice spot to hit up a comedy show.

It’s a cool place. I like the dark rave room in the basement. The room is wall to wall lounge chairs and sofas with space to dance in the middle. Being in a wheelchair, this unique design allows me to attend without feeling like I don’t belong. The elevator for wheelchair access to the basement is around the building but the staff has always been helpful and available when I wanted to get to the back room. Some of the decor makes me feel like I’m just casually hanging out at home which is really good for someone as socially anxious as I am.
