We went in today ordered 2 large beef laarb, sticky rice, eggs rolls, jerky and a dessert spent well over $100. Its sad to say that the quality and authenticity of the food that we once would get is non existent! Both of the laarbs were flavorless and super dry the one that was suppose to be spicy was red from so much chili powder they used to make it spicy, something we have never seen before as we are used to having the spice come from fresh Thai Chiles but they were non existent in the laarb. The only thing that was edible was the sticky rice everything else was not good. We used to love getting food here and it’s sad to say that we will not be coming back.

I got the pho because Ubereats had a deal for BOGO and I have severe food poisoning and have been sick for the past 5 days. I’m in so much pain and very dizzy, definitely not fresh meat

This southeast Asian market has a delicious little cafe in the back! It’s in the back of a hard-to-notice strip mall on a busy road in Kearns. You really wouldn’t know there was a restaurant in the back unless someone told you about it. I’m half Thai and the Pad Thai is seriously the best I’ve had on the US mainland. They also give generous portions of sticky rice. I definitely recommend this place to everyone in the Salt Lake City area!

Hidden gem found! Head to the back of this market and place your order, I recommend the pad Thai! I’ve also had the tilapia and red curry, both are outstanding as well! I wasn’t a fan of the chicken lab, but it was a texture thing for me.

The best thing is how piping hot it was when I got it, seriously i love when my food is super hot, for getting it delivered from Grubhub and I stay about 15 min away
I’m viet so I appreciated them so much for giving me nuc mam (for the eggroll) and chili oil!!
The portions and the flavor, amazing
I can add my own protein it’s no problem just the sauce also there were no greens to it I love my greens and from other pictures..
Picture doesn’t show it justice, there were a lot of noodles and little beef, they put a little beef on the top and I thought there would be more in the middle or at the bottom but just a lot of noodles, I’ve ordered here before and I know they give little meat so I asked for extra sauce to make up for it, i really don’t know if they did
But the flavor was there, i just couldn’t get over the slight dryness of just eating noodles
The beef was discolored to my liking, tasted fine but I’m willing to try other options

I’m so disappointed! :'( I’ve eaten here before and have always liked the food every time. However I had never ordered the “fresh” shrimp spring rolls. And thought I’d give them a try today since I wasn’t very hungry. There definitely wasn’t anything fresh about them. The rice paper had a weird taste to it and there was about three half pieces of shrimp in each roll and the type of lettuce used was the lettuce mix used for salads which most of it was brown and wilted. Not sure if they normally do them like this, but this was definitely a disappointment.

This is not the Lao food that I had experienced from 10 years ago (from previous owner). The new owner does not show any pride all. Bad service. The food I ordered look like leftover from 2 days ago, not fresh at all. It looks run down. The young guy handling the register was so disrespectful (especially to the elders). The old lady in the back act like she was force or blackmail to cook. She was not happy at all. It appeared this is why every Lao Market will never prosper due to their disrespect and lack of showing their pride in all the categories. I would post a picture of my order but it would be hard to tell whether it is fresh or from leftover. Eat at your own risk. I will not come to this filthy and dirty place.

This is a restaurant/store, but it’s stock of groceries is pretty bare bones. At least when I went there just a couple of weeks ago. I will say the restaurant is so very good! Papaya salad, beef laab, nam khao, and their beef jerky was good. Definitely will go back for the hot food.
If you plan to eat there, there isn’t much seating. Just a table or two in the back amongst the shelves that are part of the store placed in a unaesthetically pleasing manner.
But nonetheless, go there for the hot food. The delicious and quality food exceeds any other critiques about the restaurant.
