Delicious pizza, chicken tenders, chicken sandwich and smash burgers made with high-quality ingredients — we couldn’t have asked for more.
Small take out place with some counter seating. Bring the kids and check this place out! Wallace took great care of us. If you’re in Wellesley, Weston, Newton, or Needham and haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.

We drove from Hudson because we heard great things. Ordered curbside because it was an option and we have an infant. Email said it would be ready at 5:05. We pulled up and parked directly in front of the door just before 5 and watched a few people go in and pick up orders. 5:05 came and went and finally at 5:12 after watching an employee chat with a customer for 10+ minutes, my husband went in and our order was apparently just sitting there. Every box, bag, and drink said curbside on it. The milkshakes were warm and melted, the pizzas were cold, as was the chicken. $80 including tip (since we ordered curbside) and it was all basically inedible. Even my 10 year old wouldn’t eat more than a couple of bites. And to clarify, we did not drive home to eat, we ate less than 5 mins away. I could understand if they were insanely busy but they weren’t. Very disappointed and won’t be back.

If you’ve never seen a family mad dash like they were on fire into a restaurant to settle all the children and eat a proper meal, come to Firebird and you’ll see us because we will definitely be regulars. The pizza was not bad. My husband loved it but I like mine soggy and fluffy so there was a difference in opinion there. We devoured the whole pie in record time so it was definitely pretty good according to the rest of the clan. The spicy chicken sandwich though was hands down amazing. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in my life, so tender and the Sauce was perfect. Even though I was full, I wanted to get another one to go to relive that experience again. The service was phenomenal. The staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. We had several requests and they went above and beyond. Would definitely come back for the food and the nice people. And next time, I’m getting two sandwiches.

Edited to remove a star because my order has been incorrect or missing items the last 3 times I’ve gotten food here (two delivery, one pickup).
You know what? This place is great.
I honestly had low expectations because fried chicken and pizza are both difficult to “get right” beyond being just average, but everything here is good.
The chicken is crispy and juicy and well seasoned, the fries are bomb, the pizza is much better than the bulk of what’s available in the greater Boston area.
I’d like to see them err on the side of being more well done because a few of the pizzas were a little floppy (their individual slices are consistently really well cooked, presumably because they’re essentially cooked twice). I also prefer a bit more flavorful crust (a bit more salt or longer ferment? idk, I’m not a pizza scientist).
But overall, this place is very good and pretty reasonably priced for the portions and quality.

Great pizza! Super friendly staff. Pepperoni pizza was great as well as the traditional cheese. I had placed an order online earlier in the day, when I went to pick it up it was literally coming out of the oven at my exact pick up time, which meant a nice hot pizza to bring home!

It’s really hard to find a good pizza in metro west. When you find those places that put out pizzas with delicious crusts, perfect sauce to cheese ratio, and that traditional pizza flavor, it brings a tear to your eye. I heard it was new, and decided to try their plain cheese pizza and a fried chicken sandwich. They knocked both out of the park. Highly recommended! Very excited to have found a solid pizza joint!

Decided to try this new pizza place that replaced Deluxe Pizza. We were a little hesitant since it had just opened but it turned out to be a great choice. The pizza was excellent and the slightly charred dough was wonderful. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious. Welcome to Wellesley. We will definitely return.
