It’s a little miso and onigiri hut at the base of the mountain right on the slopes. Great idea to have this warm comfort food available so easily and casually.

We saw them setup in Stowe for a road race. Fantastic food and great prices. It was a short wait and we really enjoyed the plum and the shitake mushroom Kombu and possibly the best miso soup I’ve ever had. All three were vegan and delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection and the service was fast and the staff were very kind! I will definitely be stopping wherever I find them setup! There were a lot of people at the event but they were able to move us through the line speedily.

This place is great! Right off the trail and lift. The rice ball is huge and the hot Japanese coffee/ milk tea is a nice treat/ break after the cold run. Highly recommend. Buy and eat it by the fire pit!

The best resort food in America hands down. An absolute game changer. Exactly what you need for a quick warm energy boost on a cold day of riding. Also they have hot canned coffee! I really hope Sugarbush and Bolton keep these guys around for the long haul

The best part of a secret is not to share it but Shaun and company have a little gem at Mt Ellen and it’s to good not to share. I’ve eaten there every time I’ve skied North and the onigari is outstanding, probably the best food at the mountain. I really dig the hot green tea in the can, really nice on a cold day.

Highly recommended to grab lunch or a snack from the shack. My go to is the eal but the pork was really good as well.

It’s such a unique thing to have slopeside but it’s absolutely perfect. Some of the best food I’ve ever had at a resort. The miso soup is the perfect cure on a cold day. Do not sleep on this place!

Delicious, generous onigiri and a HOT counter guy. $10 is a lot for rice and tuna, but they are warm and fluffy and well-spiced.
