Ordered takeaway fish & chips at 6pm – was told it would be 4-5 mins as their food was “cooked to order”. The fish didn’t look or taste fresh and the chips were cold and looked like they had been left over from lunchtime. Including a can of juice the bill was £14.20! Very poor, and naturally I won’t be back.

Walked into a miserable guy serving me at the counter pretty rude guy if am honest , old guy seemed pleasant enough least he cracked a smile. I couldn’t believe though that the miserable guy picked my sausage out the hot plate with his bare hands thats a violation for handling food thought it was disgusting and ignorant to me as customer. I did question it if that’s what the always do handling a man’s sausage out the hot plate in disgusting fashion but apparently that’s there practice bare face lie don’t think I have ever seen any chippy do that or any food establishment work on the hygiene I gave you that £6 to buy hot plate tongs sent you a picture to what they look like for your member a staff who needs to work on his people skills!

I ate here today and had a wonderful fish and chips supper. I got a delicious Coke for a drink. I think that maybe it was the owners who served me. They were great. I sat outside on one of the tables and watched people go by in this really friendly town. Next time I come to Scotland, I’ll stay in this town.

Maggie and I had a fish super each and both were fantastic. Chips were very well done and the batter on the fish was nice and light. Highly recommend this place. 10/10!!

Food was good, although there were a couple of bits of skin on the fish which i didnt like but thats just my personal opinion. Staff were nice and friendly. Atmosphere was a bit awkward as we were the only ones there but we shouldve came at a better time so thats our fault not the place’s. Overall really nice place, would recommend ☺️

Ordered two fish and chips last night, good portion, fish was fresh and extremely tasty and the chips were great too. Nice smiley service and the man that served us (the owner?) was generous with chippy sauce and salt. Great place!

Freshly prepared in golden thin tempura. Hot and extremely good. We ate sitting on a bench by the sea.

Tried this place for the first time
Service was pretty rubbish!
Older guy was friendly enough but young guy’s face was tripping him with crap service ordering other staff about rudely
Food was poor to be honest I don’t recommend this chippy!

Noteworthy because of high prices and sub-par food. The chips were fine – average chip shop chips – but the fish was smallish and greasy. Very poor value for £12:50 and to put the boot in the tiny bottles of ketchup were £3.70.
