Highly recommend stopping here when in Dunalley. Fantastic seafood restaurant with great waterviews. We did not have a booking but the waitress was friendly and getting a table was no problem. Fresh seafood here and reasonable seafood prices. The place is clean and has an inviting atmosphere. We had a tasting platter each with an entree of abalone with a glass of Tasmanian white wine, a great match with the meal. It was a little busy at the time but the food was served quickly and presented well with attentive friendly waiting staff. We will be back again for sure.

We stopped by here for dinner on the way back from Port Arthur and glad we did! Having not been successful finding anywhere else, I called ahead to book just in case, and Sarah was lovely to chat with. The place has two levels, with indoor and outdoor seating. There are views of the harbour, and the food was delicious. We shared the Catch for 2 (hot seafood platter), but they also have a cold option as well. The seafood was fresh, with a great assortment and looked like house-made tartar. Sarah was working on her own with one chef in the back that evening – thankfully it wasn’t too busy, but she really made our night. She’s a delight and superwoman on the floor! Thanks for the laughs and chat, we look forward to dining again

Stopped for lunch on Sunday and it was very busy – waited almost 1h for food. The atmosphere is casual and while we were there quite loud. The team is very welcoming and friendly and the food is great value and the taste is okay overall.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Tasmania delicious fresh seafood prepared with true detail to taste and freshness. Wonderful wine selection great views and homely welcome service . I highly recommend the seafood platters for 2 both fried and fresh. The batter on te fish and scallops was crispy but not oily . The fish was fresh and tasted like the sea. The oysters were amazing as just slipped down your throat. We will be back.

Highly recommend!! Where do I start… AMAZING service, GREAT fresh quality food made and served with love – the abalone was delicious, chowder was creamy and tasty, couldn’t fault anything! We visited Marion Bay and ended up at this restaurant after changing our mind about our first choice, and we are so glad we did! It turned out to be such a wonderful surprise.
We ordered the seafood chowder, grilled fish, oysters, and salt pepper squid, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh and cooked beautifully, and the chowder was especially comforting.
The staff were also very friendly and provided excellent customer service, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. This place is definitely worth stopping by. We would happily come back again!

Absolute 10/10 , worth every single cent! Fresh, quality produce. We thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything, and the service was also lovely, we felt very well looked after despite it being very busy. Beautiful views of the water. It genuinely doesn’t get any better than this. Worth the 2.5hour drive, and we will definitely be back!

We have the delicious lunch here. We made the booking in advance so we don’t need to wait for the table. Lunch time seems so busy, I guess for the dinner as well because the food is super good. The Oyster is so so fresh.
