Our barista was very nice and right on track! Prices are reasonable and the drink I ordered was okay but I’m coming on here to say that’s it’s not the most kid friendly. The barista’s (or maybe someone else’s dog?) was off leash the entire time and was coming up to my kiddos faces while we were trying to eat. The dog was friendly but still not a super fun way to try and enjoy a treat. I know this is a dog friendly location which is great, but I still would like each animal to be leashed as to not interrupt food/coffee people are enjoying. We chose to eat outside and there were multiple piles of dog poop near the outside tables so I didn’t feel super comfortable letting my kids play in the grass. Also, looking at past reviews I was a bit surprised to see how the company responded in their comments back to the customer. I’m sure it’s frustrating to receive negative reviews but it’s also extremely unprofessional to speak to others like that. Treat others how you would like to be treated all that being said, I think coffee is pretty good, our barista was kind and if you’re an adult then it’s a great spot! Not kid friendly though

WOW! What a great local spot! There are plenty of great options for coffees, lattes, pastries and sammies, with an outdoor space to bring your dogs and plenty of space inside to meet with friends or biz buddies. John was a fantastic barista with great suggestions and serves up beautiful bevs with a great personality to top it off. I LOVE supporting LOCAL! Keep up the great work!

I recently switched to decaf, and The Bean Counter has been amazing. The staff always take the time to explain my options and make sure I’m getting something I’ll truly enjoy. They’re knowledgeable, kind, and never make decaf feel like an afterthought. On top of that, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. It’s quickly become our favorite spot in Hanahan via golf cart. Highly recommend!

Wifi was good, perfect for studying this coffee shop can get busy and loud though so bring earbuds if that will be distracting to you.
Friendly, welcoming atmosphere, definitely a good place to regularly visit!

Great coffee shop off the beaten path in Charleston. My family and I ordered lattes, and we were all very happy with them. I got the seasonal cinnamon honeybun latte, and the flavor was on point. The prices were fair also. Definitely recommend this coffee shop!

It’s just right if you want a tucked away, small cafe. A great place to study. Plenty of parking. Creative barista. I have heard the coffee beans they sell exceed the quality of many other places. This is a hidden gem I didn’t know about until recently. I love that they have evening hours where you can get coffee or alcoholic drinks. I don’t drink alcohol, but I have friends that do so this is a great place for all. All of the employees I have interacted with are lovely. The shop also allows local artisana to display and sell their items. Definitely worth checking out!!!
