Stopped in for lunch while passing through the area, mid-week. I opted for the salad bar and pizza special which I thought was a good value for a quick bite. We also tried a cheeseburger and fries. The food was good – and the service was fast and friendly!

Was unexpected when we walked here to eat. The older server that was cooking did a phenomenal job on our food. The kitchen was flawlessly clean. Pizza had a brick oven taste, which I love. She was our server, cook and busser. Props to you guys

So I walked into Heiser’s to spend some $ on a slot machine on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Patrons drink for free while gambling. I sat for 1/2 hour, not even asked if I would like a water, because the Bartender/Unwaitress whose name is Jewel (also unfortunately is my neighbor ) is pissed that I had to call the Police on her because her cat kept jumping my private fence and attacked my cats on multiple occasions. She is completely unstable, unable to do a job without bringing her personal miserable life into her work, Period. She should be fired…

We have order there in the past and the food was over cooked orders were wrong. They got a new cook. Ordered and again over cooked food. Missing condiments and vegetables off burgers. Fries under cooked and burgers over cooked. They can never get the food right. I had to get my own buns cause there were rock hard.

Grabbed a pizza and a beverage on my way out of town. Bartender was sarcastic and awesome! Loved her sense of humor and attitude. Not rude, just really and funny.
Pizza wasn’t bad, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. If I were to stay in Baker, I would definitely imbibe in libations at this location. Great, fun, local bar.

We live 45 miles out if town, so obviously it makes sense to call beforehand to make sure an establishment is open before making the drive. Phone rang. Gal answered “hello”. Husband said “hi, we are driving over from Bowman so we just wanted to be sure you were open today”. Gal said “yup, we’re open”. CLICK. As husband says “thank you”.
We decided we’ll go somewhere else that’s more inviting. Happy Mother’s Day!
