The food is super good, and they are the best croissants so far that we have had in the Bay Area. The staff is super good and nice. The shop is very clean, and the aesthetics are very good. There are a lot of options for sweets, pastries, and savory items. We will definitely come back.

Love this place. Good coffee, excellent pastries, and best of all, great service. Everyone is super friendly. Kudos ti Ricky for making the Apple design latte. Also shout out to John the manager. Will come here even more often.

We went on a Saturday pretty close to peak lunch hour around 1pm, but maybe cause it was the holidays, the line was less than 10 minutes and we got a table to seat right away. I haven’t explored the Bay Area bakery scene too much to be honest (cause I feel it just lacks compared to other big cities), but this is probably some of the best breakfast I’ve had in a minute. Their breakfast sandwich (no picture, wish I did tho) was a BANGER.

Where do I even begin with this experience?

From the moment I walked in, the cashier was super friendly and helpful with my order, which set the tone right away.

We got the breakfast sandwich and the peach French toast, and both were amazing. The sandwich came on a poppy brioche that was pillowy soft inside with a perfectly delicate crunch on the outside. The sausage patty had just the right amount of spice and wasn’t greasy, and the runny egg pulled everything together.

The peach French toast was just as good. The bread was crunchy on the outside but soft inside, topped with a sweet and salty cream. The mix of fresh peach slices and gently cooked peaches made it even better.

We also grabbed a croissant, which honestly might be the best I’ve ever had, even compared to ones I’ve tried in France. For a drink, I had the espresso tonic with a touch of sweetness and a slice of orange peel, and it was the perfect companion.

Can’t recommend this place enough.

Popular bakery chain originally known for their freshly baked breads and pastries, but now also expanding to breakfast sandwiches, gourmet coffee, and other drinks. Highly recommend that you order their baked goods online and pick up, as the line can be very long for walk-ins. Friendly and efficient service. Several paid parking lots within a 5-minute walk.

Great pastries and food. We noticed that there was a long line for this bakery and decided to come in for breakfast early. We tried a few pastries, thr breakfast sandwich, cuppacino, and orange juice. Excellent taste and quality. I strongly recommend the strawberry and pistachio croissant and mini chocolate soughdough bread! Place is pricey, but the taste meets the premium.

It says it opens at 7:30am, it is 7:32am and not opened yet. With prices of loafs at $12:50 I’d expect opening at 7:30am strict.

Also this place should think if they want to be a bakery or a restaurant. I am there for fine quality bread, I’d love to switch my family to it 100%, but I can’t do it if I need to wait 20 minutes in line every time.

Also option of slicing bread loafs would be nice – every store around (lunardis, Mollie Stone) has it – I’d say lack of this looks bad especially if you consider backhaus above premium prices.

The fact I buy there in spite of the lines and poor service says all about bread quality – it is awesome, the best bread I’ve ever had.

It is loud at the 2nd floor. I love their avocado toast and traditional croissant! (Was planning on to get almond one but didn’t see any of almond ones!) Cappuccino was lighter than I expected.

Excellent breakfast sandwich, very relaxing atmosphere and lovely location!

Highly prefer this location over their San Mateo one. It’s great to be able to sit down on the upper floor and enjoy my food.

Got the breakfast sandwich (along with a cup of joe) and it’s really good. Great way the start the day.

Service was fairly quick. There was a line, but it moved really quickly.
