Stopped in for lunch and got the lunch burrito. The food was good, service was good and the speed at which we got our food was amazing and perfect for a quick lunch. Definitely coming back and interested in the Godzilla burrito that I seen on the online menu.

The food & margarita were both perfect. We first noticed this restaurant with the “no love, no tacos” story, and the stories of all of the kindness from the owner to their community. It was a 2 hour drive for us, but I have been wanting to try it. You will not be disappointed! We took some carry-out with us for later too. Highly recommend a day trip if you aren’t close by.

I was in Marshalltown yesterday for a work trip and had lunch at La Carreta. I immediately knew we were in good hands when I noticed our server had a bluetooth ear piece (those kind of people are trust worthy). We had incredible service and delicious food. At check out, the owner shared more about No Love, No Tacos. If I ever find myself back in Marshalltown, I will be 100% coming back. 10/10

This is the first restaurant I ate right up the road from the new house that I just bought. The food was delicious! The salsa needs some help and some work. It just kind of doesn’t have enough spice. But the food was amazing. I would have given it five stars had it not been for the salsa. Also it’s got a really cool atmosphere and vibe.

Came in with high hopes, most of the food was very good. The tofu tacos my wife ordered the tofu didn’t have any flavor at all, just fried with no seasonings. The salsa nothing special. Atmosphere was really nice and the service was also good.
The margaritas are good with good flavor options. The option to buy half gallons and gallons is also pretty dope.

Overall the food was good. The Queso Blanco was pretty runny. Didn’t seem normal, even after sitting on your table cooling for about 30 minutes, it was still runny. Watered down? Not sure, but it was difficult to manage on a chip as it dripped across the table. Other than that, the food was good, service was excellent as usual. Some parts of the establishment have more lighting than others so if you want a darker or lighter spot you can ask the person seating you. Nice place!

My partner and I are both vegan, and this is some of the best vegan food I have had. I was extremely impressed to see quite a number of vegan options on the menu. Usually I only see 2 options, if any, when going to a Mexican restaurant. Then we learned the owner was vegan, so that was pretty neat! My partner had the vegan street tacos with vegan steak and I had the vegan quesadilla with vegan steak. They have vegan meats available (like vegan steak, vegan chicken, etc) and they even have vegan cheeses including vegan cream cheese! If we are ever in the area, we will definitely be stopping here again. So yummy!! Just FYI, the majority of food items on the menu are not vegan but the high number of vegan dishes they DO have is great. Service was great, and atmosphere was great!
