We love dinner at the Big Pic! Kevin does a fantastic job at the bar and makes a beautiful Manhattan, and the new kitchen team is really firing on all cylinders – the meatloaf sandwich is so delicious, the specials are always yummy, and everything comes out fast and hot. Our favorite place to eat in the Valley!

What a GEM! Wife and I were looking for a theater to go to for Valentine’s Day. Found this awesome spot, but didn’t know what to expect because we weren’t sure if it was more theater or more restaurant. We were SOOO happy that we took the opportunity to explore here. The restaurant is awesome! The staff knew we were trying to get into the theater and get food before so they expedited our orders and were super attentive make sure everything went smoothly. We had a salad, the trout pate, and the “not a burger” meatloaf burger dish. DELICIOUS! Had a couple of cocktails and the chocolate cake. Everything was beyond. Then we headed into the movie theater. You have to buy tickets at the location, but there was plenty of seating. I think next time we’ll get there a little earlier so we can grab one of the couch spots towards the front, but I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. We’re just so grateful to the staff for being so cool, and friendly, and helping us have an awesome evening out. As parents to two little kids, we don’t get a ton of opportunities to have a nice date night, but we definitely did this evening. We’ll look forward to seeing you all again.

We had a perfect end to our day of skiing with a tasty meal of comfort foods and a movie in a retro theater with comfy seats. We ordered Ramen, chicken and biscuits, and lasagna, and all were delicious! After dinner we headed into the theater with our cocktails, a nice perk. Will be sure to return.

The new chefs have created a menu of home cooked, authentic comfort food. The Not A Burger is the best burger I’ve had in a while and chicken & biscuit is like your mamma made it. Saturdays Chef Alex dazzles with southern fried chicken and well loved Chef Colby is making Ramen, homemade pickles, trout pâté and other goodies that have had us come back over and over . Super excited for this new incarnation of this community hub.

Amazing service, even better food, and awesome ambience. They accommodated our party of 10 without any advanced notice. Make sure to get a slice of the pie for dessert. God Bless America!!

Big Picture restaurant
The Big picture restaurant is one of our favorites. The vibe is casual with a welcoming feel. Its uniqueness of two movie theaters combined with excellent food and reasonable prices makes it a very popular place among locals and guests. A must visit the next time you’re in the Mad River Valley

The most unexpected little gem in the area. We went for a movie and dinner. We tried several nice restaurants around, and this little theatre restaurant exceeded them. The sesame crusted salmon was amazing. I asked to replace the rice with asparagus. Everything was cooked to perfection. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The movie theatre itself was a nice surprise too with comfortable couches or regular theatre seats depending on what you prefer. All in all a delightful experience.
