Made reservations and went in for lunch with my sister. Because of the restrictions you could only go in if you had reservations. it started off as just my sister and I and another couple. More people started showing up without reservations and the girl who was working kept sitting them down. We had already been waiting for about 15 min and she hadn’t taken our order. She finally came brought us our drinks we asked for lemon slices, she took our order and kept walking by without our lemon. I understand she was busy but if she was the only one working she should if never taken more guest than she can handle. Im giving this place a 5 star because the food was AMAZING!! We love sushi and its hard to find a good place but this place did it for us. We will be returning again but we hope the service is a little better.

Everything was very good. Not busy for a Saturday lunch. Worth the visit. The crunch roll was large and the baked mussels also were large and not cut in half like other places seem to be doing. The beer could have been colder and a liked the server opened the bottle at the table, like it should be done. Sushi seemed fresh and minimal rice. The blue fin was outstanding!! So tender it melted in my mouth.

Only reviewing the Ramen cause it’s all we ordered. Will update my review on my return when I try the sushi.
I tried Paitan Ramen first. It’s a pork base Ramen that was very average tasting and a little bland for my liking…. actually the taste of pepper was very strong, weird. The noodles where just ok.
Next up I tried the Miso Ramen and again I was dissatisfied . A bit on the bland side. Also the eggs where over cooked, well done… why?
I would recommend ordering the chilli oil on the side so you can add it to your Ramen. Made it taste better.
2 star review for the Ramen.
But a 4 Star review for the restaurant. Clean, great customer service, loved the fun decor.
I won’t be back for the Ramen but do look forward to trying the high rated sushi.

What a great local find!
Had the red snapper (madai), fatty yellowtail, Spanish mackerel, kampachi, uni, the baked scallop roll, their Rolling Moon roll, and miso ramen. It was all so good!
Fantastic personal service by the wait staff, and even the chef / owner came over for a pleasant chat. The prices are also very reasonable. Tuesdays and Thursdays are their fish delivery days so dinner during those days will get you the freshest and best selections, particularly off-menu offerings.

Very good. The sashimi was silky smooth and the rolls tasted fresh. The sea food ramen was good, could have use a little more umami. All and all, I would definitely come back.

My Son had the build your own bento box, with teriyaki beef & spicy tuna roll. I had huge bowl of miso ramen with flavourful ingredients: chicken, chachu, fish cake, scallions & tofu. The green tea was also excellent. Will go back again when next in town. Excellent, attentive staff and friendly.

The owner is a genius… his creations are works of art. If you love sushi this is by far the best food experience I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten sushi from coast to coast. He spends a great deal of time finding the highest quality fish. The decor needs updating but if this place operated out of a box, I’d go. 5 star food all day long and surprisingly affordable.
