Im writing this on christmas night. My partner and I realized thst we don’t have food to eat at home and stopped here without a reservation. It was busy and we were still seen quickly, and treated kindly. The wait for the food was extremely reasonable for how busy they are and was delicious. It also deserves a note that despite being slammed we were brought drinks, refills and were checked on multiple times by wait staff. What a phenomenal spot, if you need a treat stop here for a meal and you wont be disappointed!

Stopped by for lunch today. As usual great food and waitstaff. Miso soup was flavorful,packed with tofu, mushrooms and nori. The pad thai was sweet with a little heat. California was also nice and fresh. Waitress was so friendly and kind.

I’ve loved sake since 2016. The people here are so friendly and polite, every time I dine in they’re so warm and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food is great (try the sweet potato tempura!) and better priced than other places in the area. Love this place!

Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. The Summer Rolls lacked the freshness you’d expect, and while the sushi rolls were acceptable, they certainly weren’t good. The interior had a noticeable strip mall feel, which didn’t help the atmosphere. I was initially unsure if I was being overly critical, but the moment the sake arrived in white wine glasses, it confirmed that something was definitely off about this place. To top it all off, it’s kinda pricey. 2 stars is a gift.

I’ve been here firstly when I go from NY to Boston via New Haven. We wanted to get something Japanese and I just searched a “Japanese cuisine”.
This place showed up and we took an exit literally cutting other curs (sport if you remember me).
When we get inside I was shocked of design of this place. It’s look like I’m in Downtown of NYC, not a suburb of New Haven.
I’ve ordered a salmon teriyaki with Phily Maki. I always order exactly this dishes since they are my favorite. And I’ve tried them a lot.
In this place salmon is the best. It really looks like “grilled”. It even has a grilled crispy crust, which is so tasty! I’m going crazy about it. (Pictures attached).
Phily Maki is amazing as well! A lot of salmon, a lot of cream cheese and thin layer of rice. It’s impossible to wish a better.
Today was my second visit. And when I think about the lunch or dinner I don’t think too long, since I already have stared this place in my maps.
Five stars definitely!

The sushi was an incredible quality here! And all the Asian dishes to choose from! The selection is out of this world! So friendly too. We arrived just before the kitchen was closing but they were happy to have us. Definitely be adding pictures to my review because I’m going back ASAP.

The servers seemed more concerned about her personal conversation than seeing if we were done eating or wanted something else. The cashier was also rude in saying that we NEEDED to tip and that it was an obligation to do so, which i get servers need tips but if you’re rude and provide bad service then you might not get any.

Absolutely amazing! My sons loved it so much and want to come every night for dinner. Each of them must have gotten 5 orders of shrimp each, and they couldn’t get enough of it. The desert was very good and the whole family shared it. The service was amazing, if waitress, I suggest Stella. She was very very nice and every thing we asked for she didn’t forget. For how great the place was, there wasn’t many people there, which made it a very nice environment and made the food come very fast. I had a order of steak for each of my 2 sons, and an order shrimp and a lot more. Most of it came in 5-10 minutes, which is AMAZING!!

My family goes here all the time. Besides mostly good food (the dishes with brown sauce not so much), the atmosphere reminds me of and makes me nostalgic for old style NY restaurants. I loved a dish with duck although I can’t remember what it was called. Next time I’ll figure it out!
