***New review December, 2025:
NEW LOCATION!!! (See new photos).
Great atmosphere.
Super friendly staff.
The Pho is excellent.
Spring rolls are great, too!!!
Eco friendly~ real chopsticks and paper cups, not styrofoam.
This is a family business and the owners are friendly and welcoming.
The menu has good variation imo. I added a picture.
I had the lemon grass tofu noodles it was a fresh, with a hint of sweetness, the tofu was firm but it get softer with the juice at the bottom of the plate.
I also had a cup of broth and oh my my just delicious.
I promise you won’t be disappointed weather you get dry noodles or soup.
**The spicy oil sauce will be too much if you are not used to spicy food
We don’t live close at all but we would definitely make the trip back here just for the food. Oh! And the staff are wonderful as well!
Love the new location on the downtown mall, too!
It’s a very cute smallish store front on the Charlottesville pedestrian mall with ample warm-weather seating on the mall and wall banquet seating with small tables running along both walls inside. You order at the counter and take a number and they bring everything to your table. Can’t wait to come here in the winter for pho. Straight forward menu with starters, bahn mi, noodle soups, dry noodles, drinks, and desserts.
I’m happy every time I eat here. Sooooooooooo worth it
So, this was an exciting find on my visit to C’ville.
You walk up to the front window, place your order. If you plan to dine “in” they’ll bring it out to you while you sit outside. There’s a bell at the side of the building to alert them that you’re there for pickup – assuming you probably ordered online?!
The pho was delicious and flavorful. They ran out of sprouts, but i hardly noticed. The ingredients were fresh, and you can tell that love was one of them. I requested cilantro and jalapeños. When you have jalapeños, you really don’t need the extra hot chili oil sauce. I didn’t have to use it. Btw that sauce is apparently house-made. No surprise, as the sweet owner (?) greeted me while I was eating outside with two friends I just made.
I also had hot chai, and it was delicious, especially on this cold afternoon.
That was where the stars dropped for me. It would have been perfect if there was a warm post of some sort nearby to help with the cold temperatures and the uninvited wind. I will say that this establishment is probably more of a takeout in the colder months as there are no indoor seatings. To its credit though, the pho did help to warm me up! Just thought to share in case anyone else thought (like I did) there was indoor dining.
