They were one of the only restaurants open after the snow fall we had. None of the businesses were open in supply and we went to whiteville to visit family and saw they were open. It was a surprise and very welcoming to see. The wait was a little longer but them people working were there, getting it done, and still nice to deal with. Way to go cook out. Traveling and stopped in this location. Looks like it woukd be a sit down but was not. Stood at the window for 6 minutes. Seen two girls working. One on the drive thru and another at the milkshake machine. Finally one looked over and seen me standing at the window but looked away. Hoping she would tell other girl and she would come take my order. I then noticed a bug on the stainless steel table by the register crawl under the gray tray. That was my sign to leave. Please do not tell me to call the 800 number because i did and it sent me to a voice message

Make sure you check your food before leaving, this was supposed to be a fried chicken wrap with lettuce and ranch. Lady at the window was also talking about a “f-ing” corndog. Should have turned around returned for refund.

Waited over 30 min to get food and no one seemed to know what or why? Asked to speak with manager, still no reason. Asked for refund and food… was told policy does not allow to do both. Staff in the rear was mouthing off and mocking what I was saying.

They didn’t get my order right, the burger was raw, and I waited 45 minutes in line. Repeated the order 6 times in line. My sons chicken nuggets had a hair in them. Called to complain but no answer. Not happy will not be returning. Waste of almost $30 I threw the whole thing away I was grossed out.

Customer service from the cashier was great. Had an issue with poorly made food – ordered cheese fries and it was only on side of container and all over the fork they put on top of the fries in the container. The lady manager seemingly took it personally and did not applogize and instead turned and walked away without even a smile after trying to tell me that’s how the food always comes out. As someone in customer service, I know that’s not how CookOut wants her to treat me.
The wonderful cashier still smiled and treated me with respect and acknowledged my complaint.
Sad when the management handles issues worse than the cashier.
