We have been going to Smoking Hill BBQ since they opened. Being from Texas of course we love our BBQ but KC style BBQ is just as good and a welcome difference. This place is great for KC BBQ right on the lake. Love the turkey and the ribs. Great family environment run by family. They are only open weekends during the summer but great lunch/dinner while cruising the lake.

Summertime Saturday meals at Smoking Hill BBQ are a tradition and a must for our family! We always look forward to coming here and we rarely, if ever, miss a Saturday meal here when we’re in town. This is the BEST BBQ cooked and served by the nicest, sweetest family! We almost always get the family meal – best variety and best deal to feed 5 or 6 people. Soooo good! And we are seriously addicted to the baked beans!!!
