Chatter… It has been 5 years since I have been here. They have been open closed then open again.
They are now open… It has changed. From being a full restaurant to a hole in the wall for working class folks.
BUT the food is still good and for me economical.
I got fish and fries with a soda, 5 bucks Taste good and cheap…You can get burger for the same price. They serve breakfast all day… :-).
Staff is wonderfull.
A couple of tips…Parking lot in rear, parking on street iffy. There is a hair salon next door called Utopia Salon.

This one was interesting I search Google for a soul food restaurant well this isn’t one it just has soul in its name it was Lily White but that had no reflection on the service the food or the atmosphere everything was good I was just shocked to find it wasn’t a soul food restaurant. Lol .

A new experience for those who like good eats but don’t mind the neighborhood comforts of familiarity. The cook was well known by the patrons and the ordering process was a ‘jump in and place it” style of old. True old school dive spot. Cleanliness meh room for improvements.
