Wow! I think if you are like me you will be delighted by this hidden treasure in Franklin County.
Mary works very hard to provide great food at a reasonable price. The mashed potatoes and French fries are made here with real potatoes! The menu is great with priced right pleasing homemade specials everyday except Tuesday (they are closed on Tuesday).
Staff is so friendly they make you feel at home. Comfortable atmosphere as well.
Stop on in. I’m certain you will agree with me. I found a new favorite here in Rocky Mount!

Friendly staff and owner. Relaxed atmosphere. Mary makes food and desserts from scratch. I haven’t been there for breakfast yet, but, lunches and dinners have been great! Burgers, plates with lasagna or meatloaf or BBQ with homemade veggies, nachos and salads. Variety on menu has something for everyone.

Definitely not what we expected. If you look online and decide to go here because of the photos of the food that are posted….DON’T. The steaks were very thin, not cooked to order, and dry. The service was good, nice people. We were looking for a decent dinner but only got mediocre dinner food .

If you love small country mom and pop style diner than this is your spot. The staff were so amazingly sweet and pleasant. They made sure your coffee cup was never empty. The food was reasonably priced and the food was good. Perfectly cooked eggs with our country ham and country fried steak.

The meatloaf special was delicious. It was tender and flavorful. The sides were just as tasty. Green beans were perfectly seasoned and mashed potatoes were buttery and perfect with the gravy.

I forgot to take pictures of our food but this little place is so good. My salad and burger were great and my husband enjoyed the open face turkey special. The cheesecake pie was amazing as well. She also walked out offering us a bowl of freshly finished Limea beans.. I declined simply because I’m not a fan of beans but they looked just like how grandma would have made them!

Visited this restaurant for the first time on my way back from Roanoke traveling home. Food was fantastic and the restaurant was clean. The host was very friendly and provided excellent service how ever our server was not the friendliest towards her which really threw the whole vibe off. She was okay with us and refilled our drinks in a timely manner and got everything we needed for our meal but I did not like the fact she was treating her coworker like she did in-front of everyone.
