I recently visited Flavorful Vibes on a Friday evening with my girlfriend, and we had an amazing experience! I ordered the whiting fish with yellow rice, candied yams, macaroni and cheese, and a small piece of cornbread everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. My girlfriend had fried shrimp with mac and cheese, candied yams, and cabbage, and she loved every bite.
We also tried the fresh lemonade and sampled the mimosa with tequila, which was surprisingly good highly recommend it!
The owner, Nickey, was incredibly welcoming. She told us about Thursday karaoke nights and Saturday brunch, which I’m excited to try next time. She also showed us the dessert menu, including the banana pudding, which I’ll definitely be ordering on my next visit.
The atmosphere is inviting, the service is genuine, and the food is clearly made with care. I highly recommend Flavorful Vibes to anyone looking for great food and a warm, friendly vibe!

Food is amazing, we were served by the owner tonight and not only was she so incredibly sweet, but she definitely put love into her food! Everything is delicious! 10 out of 10! Second time ordering from here and we were not disappointed!! Thank you for the amazing food and service !!

I’m writing to share a very concerning experience I had at Flavor Vibes in Cohoes. I believe in giving businesses a chance to improve, but what I experienced was unacceptable and damaging to your brand. The Vibes were not vibing
This was my first visit, and initially I was impressed with how cute and inviting the space looked. I even told my friend I could see myself hosting a birthday party there soon or using your business for catering. I was fully prepared to spend a significant amount of money with your establishment.
Unfortunately, the two young ladies working the counter were extremely unprofessional. There was no greeting, no acknowledgment when we walked in, and the tone used with us was rude and dismissive. One employee responded to us with “What you order?” instead of asking for an order name or welcoming us.
I also placed my order by phone earlier and was repeatedly told the music was too loud for her to hear me, instead of adjusting the volume or handling the call professionally. No explanation of how your plate orders work was given, which is important for first-time customers.
At checkout, my tap-to-pay was delayed due to very poor cell reception inside the building, and the cashier appeared visibly irritated while I retrieved my card. Customers should never feel rushed or treated as an inconvenience when they are spending their money.
The most troubling part of the experience was hearing a staff member say “that black girl” as I was walking out. I was the only Black customer in the store with my friend. Whether intended as a joke or not, this is unacceptable and offensive.
We spent $111, and while the chicken was good, the rest of the food was ok with very small portions for the price.
I have also heard from multiple people that the staff at the counter have a pattern of unprofessional behavior. First impressions matter. These employees are the face of your business, and their behavior will absolutely be the downfall of your establishment if it continues.
I was genuinely interested in becoming a repeat customer and possibly booking a birthday event or catering. After this experience, I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience with others. Word of mouth spreads very quickly, especially when service is poor.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the professionalism and customer service standards with your staff.

What can I say it’s def worth every dime. Very clean, ambiance is nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. Food is DELICIOUS fresh to order tastes like a home cooked meal.

I placed an order for the 1st time today. My order came to $78.00, including tip. I was very disappointed. I ordered baked chicken, cabbage, greens & yams. The only thing I found flavorful were the greens! Didn’t even get half cup of those. My niece raves about this place! I must have caught them on an off day. Not sure why my photo didn’t upload.

I cant comment on the food but I arrived a lil after 9pm which is before 10pm (the time that they allegedly close). The door was locked although there were guests inside. Instead of communicating to me, the waitress approached the door to change the sign from open to closed.
